If you crave a hunk of barbecued duck smothered in a habanero-and-star-anise sauce and wrapped in a blue corn pancake, this restaurant is for you. We began our lunch with this delectable appetizer, then ordered taco platters (shrimp for my wife and chicken for me). Both were extraordinary. We shared dessert, a slab of delicious coconut that would have fed... more

After a unbelievable relaxing trip to Qua spa, we were hungry for great food. Asked the concierge at Caesars and got directions to Mesa. The interior is very fitting for Flay's tex mex style. We started with the blue corn pancake filled with bbq duck. This is the first time I ever had duck that wasn't dry. It melted in... more

In contrast to my experience at Bouchon, I was genuinely pleased and surprised by Mesa Grill. I've seen 'Throwdown with Bobby Flay' on the Food Channel, and I assumed this would be just a restaurant that used his name to get you in the door. Well, the food was excellent and original. I had the sweet potato hash with chicken.... more

Mesa Grill is a bustling restaurant on a Friday night, but they must not staff for it. Our server was largely unavailable; when we did interact with him, he was less than accommodating. This is not an inexpensive restaurant, so when my husband requested a different side with his meal, I was a bit surprised that the waiter acted as... more

Of all the places we ate at during our trip to Vegas this was by far the best! Sure it's a little pricey (my husband and I both had one drink and our bill was $121.00) but it is worth it! Excellent food - I had the chicken and my husband had the pork. It was great! We made reservations... more

Had dinner here pre-Cher and was mostly happy. The waiter was very attentive and answered any question we had. The appetizers were excellent and my main course was excellent however as per the previous reviewer, my wife's medium rare steak came out very rare. I wish the waiter had mentioned that maybe she should order medium. She sent it back... more

The appetizers tasted great and they were cooked well. We began to think that we were really in for a treat until the main courses arrived. I ordered a Rib Eye Steak and asked for Medium rare. The waitress told me that I needed to go with medium, because they "always undercooked" the steaks. That should have been our first... more

My wife and I love watching Bobby Flay on the Food Network. I had seen Mesa Grill in Caesar's Palace during my last visit to Vegas, but didn't get to go in. After a long day walking and shopping, we were looking for a place to sit and grab a glass of wine. We decided to stop in Mesa Grill,... more

Didn't know what to expect from Bobby Flay as I don't watch too many cooking shows. I struggled with the menu and didn't actually think i would like anything - it's not your average menu. I ordered an asparagus salad to start which was fresh and just what i needed. My main was grouper - absolutely delicious! I was worried... more

My husband and I were in Las Vegas for a long weekend celebrating our first half-anniversary. We'd already had great meals for two nights, and were actually becoming a bit ovewhelmed by all the food. We had intended to just walk by Mesa Grill as we were wandering around Caesar's, but then decided to go in for a drink. It... more
