We love diners and were very happy to run into Black Bear. The staff were all so friendly and the food was delicious. It was packed with locals which is always a good sign. The prices were very welcoming too!

After reading the reviews we decided to try this place for dinner. I had the ribeye steak which was very small and tasteless. I asked for it medium but it was very over cooked and very fatty. Before I ordered I asked the waitress which was the best steak to order and she told me the ribeye in the black... More

Think of this as kind of a funky Bob Evans where everything is home made. We went with a party of three; two had lunch, and one had breakfast. While the foods we ordered were pretty basic, all of them had a unique twist and special flavor. This might be a chain, but based on the presentation and taste of... More

Been here before...but,on Sundays ,as usual ,it was crowded & breakfast was not good. They have really cut back on the food portions & quality. Service was ok but perfunctory Its hard to screw up breakfast but I had the G.I.'s after about an hour.

This Restaurant is less than a mile from my residence so of course it is handy. This is a chain of restaurants in the western states. I have ate at 8 of them so far. I have never been disappointed at what I have had to eat at any of them. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is great. And... More

While planning a recent trip to Lost Wages, we saw this joint on Trip Advisor and decided to check it out. After reading all of the good reviews our expectations were pretty high, but Black Bear Diner delivered. The food was excellent -- my wife went gaga over the Summer Harvest Salad -- and our waitress was friendly and attentive.... More

If you're looking for a great breakfast at a decent price, this place is a must. Although I can only speak about the breakfast, I would bet (no pun intended) that lunch is just as worthy. We enjoyed our meals and outstanding service by everyone from the host who promptly seats you to the well experienced wait staff so much... More
