Stopped at this place on a whim and was pleasantly surprised, thought this was an independant but apparently it is a chain. Staff seemed to know all the customers by first name so it was a friendly "diner" atmosphere. There a tons of teddy bears everywhere which should provide entertainment for families with children. - great selection on menu -... More

The Black Bear DIner is a chain. The restaurant here is exellent. Yes, it is busy, but the the service is great and the staff keeps things moving. Servings are big! They even have smaller portions if you want them. The California Eggs Benedict is killer!! Their biscuits are big and great! Prices are moderate. We love this place! (It... More

I was going to eat light and got the tuna chef salad. It was so large I couldn't finish it. At least what I did eat was healthy. DW got the French dip and thought it was the best she ever had. Cindie was an excellent server. Very pleasant off strip diner. Ate at one years ago in Lake Havasu... More

Black Bear Diner is a great breakfast spot, and you'll usually know by the ten or so people sometimes waiting for a table at 9.30 or 10AM on a weekend morning. The wait is usually short...ten or fifteen minutes tops. Black Bear is a chain, so maybe you've tried them elsewhere too. There's many locations here in the west, and... More

Going on the reviews on Trip Advisor we chose the Black Bear Diner, and was not disappointed. I enjoyed delicous cream pancakes, and flavorful sausages. I picked on my husband's plate of potatoes, man, we're they good! We had four other people with us that also loved their breakfasts. Service was excellent! Thank you, Candy!
