First, no dislikes. This is a family style restaurant with many menu selections. Service is fast, food is good. Staff is friendly and courteous. Don't forget the take out bakery items.

We have been here before when traveling to Las Vegas. The food has always been good and the value is also good. This time we had eggs benedict, California chicken sandwich and grilled cheese with bacon. All were extremely well made and the ingredient's were fresh. The unfortunate thing is that the volume of food was so great that we... More

I am a regular user and contributed to Trip Advisor so when I read reviews I trust they are accurate and most are spot on. I'm sorry to say Black Bear is not even close to the rave reviews it has received. Now all places can have bad nights but when it's fairly quiet and it takes 45 minutes to... More

This diner is just a 10 minute drive from the strip. We went for breakfast twice in a week it was that good! Everybody made us feel very welcome and the food was great. Be warned the portions are very generous. We even got a blakbeary pie and a bears paw Danish to take away. Highly recommended.

After a long flight to arrive in Las Vegas mid-morning, we found this Black Bear Diner on trip advisor, and having had a very good experience in Reno at BBD, we tried the LV version and were pleased. My wife had their original pancakes and I had cinnamon roll french toast, and both were very tasty. Prompt service and convenient... More

We had dinner and dessert (strawberry pie with a chocolate cookie crust!). Our waitress was very friendly and provided awesome service. The food was served rather quickly and it was delicious. My daughter picked this restaurant and we were very pleased.

You will not find a friendlier diner anywhere. The food was excellent. The meatloaf was light, the mashed potatoes were creamy with a flavorful gravy. Soup of the day was an excellent gumbo.

Came for lunch before flying back to Houston. We all ordered sandwiches - Ruben (on sourdough, they were out of rye), French Dip (made with Tri tip steak), the Gobbler (turkey, cranberry & avocado) and a turkey club. Sandwiches were all very good, and our special requests were accommodated with a smile! Desserts - OMG over the top! Very generous... More

Great tasting home cooked food at a very friendly and welcoming restaraunt. Big portions all around but you can order smaller portions. Coffee was delicious and so was there got sauce which came in 3 levels from baby bear, mama bear, and papa bear hot. Highly recommend coming here for breakfast.

Black Bear Diner's homemade pork sausage patties were so good. I ordered the spicy and it definitely had a kick to it. If you do not like spicy, order the mild. The sweet cream waffle was delicious. Nice, friendly atmosphere for this restaurant. It did not take a long time for the meal to be served even though they were... More
