Very nice

Surprisingly fancy restaurant in the Orleans Casino. We were pleasantly surprised. The food and service were excellent.

The Orleans Hotel and casino have two respectable steak houses, but Canal Street is the one that stands out. The atmoshpere, service and food match or beat some of the finer, more well known restaurants. We really enjoy being able to step off the casino floor into a quiet, upscale dining experience (casual attire is acceptable; you're in Vegas). Reservations... More

Professional service, generous sides that can be shared, and steaks cooked perfectly. Prices were what I would expect for a good steak dinner. A somewhat limited menu. Crab cakes with corn relish for an appetizer was tremendous, if you like that sort of thing.

Service and ambience was very good and extremely accommodating. Table side Caesar Salad was unexcitingly boring. Dressing was weak and when side order of Anchovy was requested, none was to be found, which was surprising considering this was supposed to be an upscale restaurant. Sea bass entree was disappointingly small and thin. New York strip steak was over seasoned but... More

Went on Saturday 6th September. Second time to this restaurant. Not as good as the first visit but we did change the time and party number with short notice. Two fillets and the surf and turf. Fillets excellent but the surf and turf not great. Way too much garlic on the shrimp and way to much fat and gristle on... More

Desperate for a place to stay on a crowded night in Vegas we settled on the two star motel 6 - on my small screen this restaurant looked closer than it was - walked thru a marginal neighborhood but were seated inside this plush restaurant --meal was super good; grill combo and roasted salmon. Were treated very nicely by staff... More

We always visit this restaurant when we are in Vegas. It is off the Orleans Casino floor; it is enclosed so is quiet. We had Lorenzo for our server. He has been there for years and is our favorite. Other staff is very friendly also. The bread comes out with an amuse bouche. This night it was a green grape... More

We always select a good restaurant on our last night of the holiday and on Sunday 14th we selected Canal Street Steak & Seafood to dine in. We made a reservation earlier in the day, although they didn't seem to be that busy. The service is excellent as is the food. Again as I am not a BIG eater the... More

we had the best booth in the restaurant! it was right next to a fireplace and we could see almost the entire restaurant. I had prime rib and lobster and it was wonderful! my husband had the Steak Diane which was equally delicious! the service was amazing from the host to waitress to the waitress' assistant. I can't wait to... More
