We are four female flight attendants; we meet in Las Vegas twice a year. We always try to visit two new (to us) restaurants (recommended by passengers) and two past favorites in our four day stay. This year the Red square was on our 'new' to do list. We arrived at 7pm on a Thursday night and were seated on... More

On a recent trip to Las Vegas a friend and mentor asked me to join them for cocktails at Red Square in the Mandalay Bay casino complex. We ordered three martini's and two sides. The chicken wings and the Oysters, not something I normally order off the coast. The appetizers were outstanding, and the Martini's magic. I'm not a Martini... More

This may be the place to go for caviar and vodka, as they seemed to have a lot on the menu. But I did not have any of that. So I can only comment about the dinner which I did have. My main issue was that the menu had very little Russian food on it. I am by no means... More

We earned our drinks getting to Red Square at the Mandalay but it was worth it! Set at the south end of the strip, Red Square is set up like a Russian bar with a headless statue of Stalin (?) outside the door (who knows, there's no head!) Inside the interior is literally red and the bar has a strip... More

Not sure if olives count. This place is in the Madaley Bay resort complex. It seems more like a bar with a small restaurant attached. Soviet themed place with a very attractive staff. The martinis were really good. Lots of vodkas I never have tried. Pricey though.

We enjoy stopping at Red Square for a drink during our visits in Vegas. They have a bunch of cool vodka's that are great to try. The place makes for good people watching if nothing else. I'm not sure I'd eat the food - there are so many other great places known for their food vs. their iced bar top.... More

I had always wanted to try this place, after checking out the re-vamped Red Square on-line (the restaurant at Mandalay Bay was closed and recently re-opened), we decided to make it a dinner stop. The decor and atmosphere were very cool, with Soviet themes, low light and dark red, brooding colors. The wait staff, including the hostess, were extremely attentive.... More

This place is a destination by itself even if it weren't in Mandalay Bay. The iced bar is fantastic for for the miriad of vodkas they offer. When you are summoned to your table you are summoned to fantasy. I had the tuna tartar topped with caviar for appetizer and my wife had the crab cake. The crab cake was... More

We were thinking of eating dinner at the Red Square on our Vegas visit this year, as we always go there, but only to have cocktails. I read the reviews stating it had changed ownership, and the place had gone downhill, but I just couldn't give up. Luckily we went and had cocktails there the day before we planned dinner.... More

All these over priced restaurants are searching for an identity. If they can create a brand demand, they assume they can justify the prices. The filet, creamed spinach and mashed potatoes were all very good but not good enough to make me want to come back and pay the prices again.
