The food was Excellent even thought the service wasn't. We arrived around 6:30pm ordered an appetizer & drinks which came out around 15 minutes later, then we ordered our dinner... We sat there for over an hour before I had to flag down the waitress because she never came back to our table. I asked her if she forgot about... More

Soccer, Lager, and good food. All what you expect out of a Pub. Only reason it doesn't get my excellence rating is service is hit or miss. but regardless I go back for the atmosphere and food and drinks.

Pubtastic is a fantastic word! Happy to hear you're such a fan of what we do, from the food to our atmosphere. I know we can get the service to be top knotch, so thanks for speaking up about the inconsistency. Hope to see you in soon, Richard, The Publican More

Have eaten here several times. Food good every time. Today was an exception, but only because of the bartender, who proceeded to ignore us when we wanted drink refills, and also brought extra fish just when we had received our main meal (all you can eat fish and chips), so when we had eaten first course, extra fish was cold. But... More

I'm sorry our bartender fell short, but it's great to hear that you've always loved our dishes. I'll talk to the team right away, but until then, thanks for letting me know about this. Hope we can show you a five-star visit next time! All the best, Richard, The Publican More

Top of every list of where to watch Premier League games and this pub definitely did not disappoint. Came to watch the Arsenal v Everton match while on vacation and loved it! Great beer, awesome staff, and being able to yell at the tv over football with other fans without getting odd looks is greatly appreciated.

I have eaten here several times in 12 years and have always liked several items on the menu: fish and chips, steak & kidney pie, chicken & leek pie and bangers & mash. There is a great pub atmosphere here, but I was very disappointed with our most recent visit. I was surprised to find that, while they carry a... More

If you're disappointed, I'm disappointed! After so many meals here over the last dozen years, I'm bummed that we didn't come through from you on your last visit. We have made the shandy with lemon-lime soda forever, which is the way they make it in England. But we'll be glad to make it with our American lemonade, which comes out... More

Hey, I'm just happy we were able to make our friends from across the pond happy -- you know your pubs. :) Wish we could have had you guys in a few more times, but we get how it is. Unfortunately, vacations have to end. Next time you Welsh boys make it back, we'll definitely have a few cold ones... More

I have been wanting to try this place for a while now, having read the reviews and driving by on occasion. Our group of 4 arrived later on a Monday evening for dinner to find the patio and bar pretty full and the restaurant seating almost empty. Our server found us a great table outside and was terrific with her... More

The smell of stale ale & smoke in the bar makes it unpleasant .. Thankfully we sat outside.. There was a beer spill on the floor when we first arrived & after an hr it was still there.. The waitress had on a skirt that was totally not suitable for bending over to lift glasses .. Terrible

Doesn't seem like you were completely blown away by your first go-around, and we definitely appreciate you letting us know! We try to keep the old-school pub charm in tact, but that shouldn't mean that the smell is unpleasant. As for the beer, it should be cleaned as soon as it's spilled! Your input goes a long way with us,... More

The Crown & Anchor is a great British pub and by far the best English joint in Nevada. I have eaten here many times over the past 10 years and have always found the service friendly and the food fantastic. While you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, I find myself ordering my usual faves time after time:... More

I travel to England frequently and feel like I know my British cuisine - and this one is authentic. The meat pies are excellent, the beer selection is even better and the desserts are bland as hell. Go and enjoy!

As confused as the last statement made me, I really appreciate the kind words, Jeff. Always happy to hear "authentic" when the food and beer are brought up. We'll see you in soon for another bite and a few brews. Cheers, Richard, The Publican More
