Hachis de Merquez was Excellent! Ambience was great! Service was just okay!

Breakfast at Buchon could be great. Unfortunately, our breakfast gets mixed reviews. I ordered the Hachis de Merquez which is house-made lamb sausage hash served with 2 eggs & toast. I requested my eggs over medium. They were served atop the hash and blended beautifully with the hash when I cut... read more

Most notably for realistic reasons I write primarily about "economical" eateries. Basic thinking - less spent, more opportunities to enjoy during the journey. While I often have gushed about places like Ellis Island and other local restaurants early birds like myself enjoy at great prices every once in awhile a special occasion arises that demands something out of the usual.... Bouchon challenges the standard high end restaurant in Vegas. The setting is bustling, not noisy. There is some outdoor seating. And, there are no signs of gambling just outside the door. For those reasons alone, it's worth a visit. The food is also good -- not great by any means -- but a good range of bistro fare that is... More

Loved their food! My husband and I ordered salmon tartare, steak, and mussels. It was one of the best meals we've ever had in Vegas.

What should have been a pleasant business dinner turned into a bad experience with tasteless steak, salty muscles and fries, dried chicken and a lack of alchohol. Not only couldn't we find someone to take our drink order (there was a menu on the table) but when we flagged down a waiter at random they said they could not help... More

I took a group of three to what I hoped would be an excellent dinner. First of all, did you ever see a restaurant in Las Vegas where you could not get someone to take your drink order? Very strange. We had a wine and beer menu on the table but nobody seemed interested in taking our drink order. We... More

In town for a business trip and was greeted by the worlds largest convention: NAB. over 300k attendees and as you might guess, every restaurant in the city was overbooked. At the last minute I was to host a dinner for guests and colleagues. My first choice as has been the case is/was the Bouchon in the Venetian Hotel on... More

Fabulous meal in every way. Don't hesitate to go! Recommend the mussels! Can't wait to go back. The service was impeccable and all the food perfectly done.

We were six dining together, and the waiter was very accommodating about splitting the check three ways. The food was great. I tried the appetizer called Radishes with Salted Butter (because I couldn't imagine what butter would add to radishes), and found that it adds nothing! All six of us had the lamb which was great. The room is lovely... More

This restaurant is well-hidden in the depths of the Venetian Hotel (not in the Canal Shoppes) and worth the trip. I had the eggs benedict special of the day with smoked salmon and loved it. Cocktails are served in generous portions with the highlight being the bellinis. Restaurant appears to accommodate large parties easily and is open for breakfast lunch... More
