Haven't been to Paymon's in several years but decided to stop in on our most recent trip. So glad we did! Still just as good as before. The Athens fries are delicious. I really appreciate all of the vegan and vegetarian options available. The kids menu is unimpressive...typical kid fare. Kids can always order off the adult menu and share... More

My husband and I really like Greek/Mediterranean food, so went out of our way to find a restaurant in Vegas where we could "eat Greek". We liked the ratings and reviews of Paymon's but our expectations were too high, apparently. The hostess was not welcoming and sat us at a table that didn't have silverware and apparently didn't inform the... More

Just a short cab ride from the strip --this great Mediterranean restaurant is beloved by locals and popular with the UNLV crowd and its easy to see why. Our group of eight had some fabulous food served promptly at very affordable prices with great service. I had the cold cucumber soup with mint which was epicurean and a wonderful eggplant... More

Hadn't been to Paymon's in a few years and really enjoyed my visit last week with my son. Server was super pleasant bringing me out an array of salad dressings so that I could taste test. My gyro salad was huge and an excellent value at $9.75. I took home the extra salad dressings and enjoyed them all week long.... More

For Euro types, stay away. The food is somewhere between mediocre and terrible, served lukewarm. Stay away from the curry, it's just not curry. The chicken is kind of tasteless and rubbery unless you put a lot of salt tzatziki etc. The place could be revamped for both hygiene and looks. Another restaurant that everyone says is yummy but which... More

The menu is truly broad - from Italian to Indian (not that I see India as Mediterranean but, okay), including Turkish, Greek, Israeli, Lebanese, etc. The strip mall setting has a large diner-like room, a smaller, quiet, more intimate middle dining room, and a hookah lounge, all connected. The food was good, not fantastic, and for a restaurant that was... More

I'll be up front and start by saying that I've been going to Payman's for over 20 years. And, while I very much miss the no-longer-served rose and pistachio ice cream, the quality of the rest of the food hasn't changed much. Athens fries are a must to start with ~ even with people who don't generally consume fries, these... More

The restaurant is 3 blocks off strip, so not crowded (big plus). It has two parts: cafe and hookah lounge. We've been only in café. Interior is a little dark and I guess supposed to be intimate. We were with kids, so hard to judge. Food was outstanding. We got yogurt with pita, side-sized, which was surprisingly large portion. Then... More
