Uneven dining experience, but well-intentioned

My husband and I dined here on our first night in Vegas for our honeymoon. Location was pretty, though we were assigned to the bar area away from the action. Ordered the Ricotta Gnocchi, while my husband chose the pork schnitzel. The gnocchi was disappointingly average, with little variation in... read more

It can feel like someone's hand is in your pocket all the time in Las Vegas. In the hotels on the Strip, most items are marked up. During our previous trip to Vegas we did not even consider visiting a chef-branded restaurant. Imagine our surprise when, after a day of walking around the Strip and reacquainting ourselves with Vegas, we... More

Postrio is in the part of the Venetian that's meant to replicate an outdoor Italian City Plaza. And it does a great job of that. So thanks to the Venetian, Postrio has a lot of great atmosphere going for it without even trying! But of course, in the end it's about the food. And I would say we were very... More

I was disappointed with my selections. I ordered Caesar salad to start, but could have gotten better a Caesar salad at most of the buffets in Vegas. The Caesar at Postrio had little flavor and not enough dressing. The prosciutto pesto pizza was also not to my liking - the flavor of the prosciutto overpowered everything else. I probably would... Had our NYE dinner here, place was very busy and people who had not booked were waiting for seats. We were sat outside (but inside the grande canal shoppes area). Had a coule of cocktails to start, the waitress got the order wrong, but hey what the hell? we drank them anyway, we also ordered a bottle of wine with... More

If you want a great meal and wonderful atmosphere, come here! While there are many restaurants in Vegas to choose from, and many at the Venetian, this has to be one of the top best. We ordered the raviloi and the thai salad both were outstanding, oh.... and the Sangria's were amazing. Service was the best.

Menu sounded a bit dull to me, but food was absolutely delicious! Was there for brunch and french omelete with tuscan potatoes and a side of bacon was wonderful. Would definitely go back and the service was great. They greet you with a complimentary mimosa if you like that sort of thing:)

Postrio is located at the Venetian's Grand Canal Shoppes. We sat "outside" even though we were indoors, the appearance is that you are outside due to the blue sky ceiling . We started with the red Sangria, it was so good, we even asked for a cup to go! I had the Chinois Chicken Salad and my friend had the... More

This time out I had some spicy tuna tartare to start and my friend had the truffel and bleu cheese home-made chips... delish! I had a few johnnie black and sodas then out came my striped bass (fish of the day) order over... More

Attended a private event. Waiters passed around appetizers & drinks. Very posh upscale. Food we were served was very good. Good wine selection served. Very good service. My only complaint was the lack of seating. Very hard to hold a drink in 1 hand and passed food in the other while in louboutin heels. The musical show out front was... More
