My husband and I visited the golden steer back in 2010 and absolutely loved everything about it service, food etc. However on a recent trip back to LAs Vegas we were travelling with family and friends and based on our previous visit we recommended to them that we visit again ... Unfortunately for us this time around the experience was... More

The building is off no where. It looks old from the outside. Inside, it smelled funny by the door. In the dining room, it looks very old school, with its old dark smokey (no smoking, but you know what I mean) charm. The cold appetizer is amazing, but pricy. 70 dollars seems a little but much, but it was good.... More

The table made Ceasar was a highlight. The only thing I would suggest is for the waiter to stop by earlier to make sure everything was ok. My steak was rare instead of MR. I had to grab someone else to take it back to the kitchen and it took 10 minutes to get it back.

This restaurant has changed hands through the years. My husband has been numerous times 15, 20 years ago, and raved about it. We gave it another try recently. The steaks, prime rib and service were excellent. One member of our party ordered a rare steak and it came out medium, but they were responsive about taking it back and replacing... More

Unassuming location away from the strip and downtown, this place is right out of the 1950's in the best possible way! Dark, old school leather booths, a bar with slot machines - photos of the Rat Pack - we sat in the "Sinatra Booth" - waiter and food were outstanding. Had two wonderful bottles of Sterling Cabernet and a huge... More

We went here for second year in a row during CES show in vegas. First off i recommend calling and making a reservation in advance. Second off be prepared for at least $100 -$150 a head. They offer bottled water for the table in sparkling or stilled for a cost. We also ordered some appetizers which had crab i think,... More

I doubt you can find better beef and better service anywhere. The atmosphere is as a steakhouse should be: vintage ratpack. Our steaks were perfectly prepared, the sides were as expected, the service was friendly and attentive. A few niggling negatives that did not really detract. The bar does not stock much upscale liquor, no bourbons. The wine list is... More

Service was very good. I almost could go to excellent except the bus boy keep swarming around me to get my plates. The food is really average when you factor the cost. I have had better for the price. It was very good but over-priced. Fun to see what a Vegas eatery from the hay day of the Rat Pack... More

Forget the celebrity chef hype - had a client dinner at Craft Colicchio Steakhouse in the MGM, no offense, but the Golden Steer beats it by a mile. In service, quality, atmosphere - how can you top great food, prepared without attitude in style, in a classic setting? We sat in John Wayne's booth and enjoyed a great steak dinner.
