Old time Las Vegas - GREAT SERVICE but disappointed in Prime Rib

Visited early on a Friday night after a local recommendation. Not a lot to look at from the outside, but don't let appearances fool you. If the walls could talk.....Service was white coats and was excellent. Ordered the medium size prime rib. It was served immediately - less than 5 minutes from... read more

Had a business dinner at this Old Vegas, rat-pack-type steakhouse and WOW, on Sahara, close to the Strip, and you won't find it if you don't go looking🌹

We have been here a few times and it never disappoints. Great Food, great staff and full selection in the bar. Request the Sinatra booth for old school charm!

I have been coming here for years and every visit is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful suggesting the perfect bottle of wine. The ceasar salad which is made tableside is incredible. The steaks are obviously top quality and cooked to absolute perfection. Melt in your mouth bone in prime rib. Dessert on this visit was cheesecake which... More

This place once glittered up by celebs and fine food has nothing left but fine food (truly). Arrogant waiters, sticky carpet (my shoes are still itching) and even more sticky booths. What a loss. Next time I would rather stir away from that steer for an alternative (plentiful in Las Vegas).

Old time steak house. The steak was good as well as the rest if the meal. The made the Caesar salad as the well as the Cherry Jubilee in front of our table. Great atmosphere as everyone in restaurant seemed happy. For a full meal with drinks, dessert, appetizer, and meal, expect about $100 per person. Worth it and will... More

You walk in and feel as if Frank Sinatra or Robert DeNiro could walk up to your table at any time. This is the kind of old-school Vegas restaurant we have all seen in the movies - pristine white linen table cloths, strong drinks, excellent food. They make your Caesar salad at the table. The steaks were cooked to perfection,... More

It was been a while since I last ate here and my most recent meal was as good as it gets. The table side preparation of the Caesar Salad was expertly performed and our steaks were cooked to perfection. Service was excellent, attentive but no overdone. This is a piece of old Las Vegas that many people miss or have... More

Went to the Golden Steer for an early dinner after sightseeing. Fantastic! Ambiance right out of the early Sixties! And the food was fantastic! Get the Caesar Salad for two... Made tableside. Any of the steaks but the Petit Filet was just right for me. And we finished with Bananas Foster.... Again made table side. Perfect end to a perfect... More

Great for business or personal dinner meeting. Feels like Sinatra, Elvis, Sammy Davis or Dean Martin could walk in at any moment. Always have had excellent service and food at Golden Steer. Been there many times, will continue to patronize.
