Great ambience!

Had dinner here when in Vegas on business and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is really cool, it's dark with lots of old time pictures on the walls, with Frank Sinatra music playing in the background. I had the petite filet and baked potato and both were excellent. We also tried their famous... read more

I felt like I travelled back in time. The place's location isn't easy to find. It looks like in the 60s, Merlyn, mob, so amazing! The personell is nice, but the prices are high. It sure is worth it

This was probably my 15th trip to the Steer. I do not go to Vegas without having a dinner there. I've had a few small dinners there, with just the wife or with a couple of couples. That's a nice experience. However, I've had several parties there, including this trip where I entertained about 20 friends and clients. The service... More

This place is best described as wierd. So the food is pretty damn good but so many things confuse me and it is rather pricey. First it's location is horrible. Small dinky little mini mall type thing with a businesses. Neighborhood seems a bit sketchy. Food presentation was great, service was great, but again a bit pricey. I think I... More

The outside of the place doesn't look very good. Inside it is like a throw back 30 years in time. They are very proud of who has eaten there. Ordered the garlic bread as recommended. Actually didn't like it. Ordered the shrimp cocktail which was huge and really good. Ordered a ribeye. It was one of the better steaks that... More

Loved this throwback in time steak house. Unfortunately, we had a very late reservation and I can't eat steak that late so I ordered the shrimp cocktail as my app and the salmon for the entree. The food was excellent and the decor was fabulous. I will return for the prime rib.

My husband and I dined here last night. It pains me to give them 3 stars because the food and atmosphere are 4+. I had the shrimp scampi, which was cooked perfectly but a touch too salty. My husband ordered the 22 oz rib eye. It was GOOD, probably the best steak I have ever tasted. We also ordered the... More

If you want to step back in time and feel like you're part of old Vegas, this is the place to be. Intimate, cool red leather booths, with décor that doesn't disappoint, it's something to experience. As for the food and staff, all around excellent. An old-school restaurant that is really just one of the best steakhouses we've been to.

Visited early on a Friday night after a local recommendation. Not a lot to look at from the outside, but don't let appearances fool you. If the walls could talk.....Service was white coats and was excellent. Ordered the medium size prime rib. It was served immediately - less than 5 minutes from ordering. I was told that it was marinated... More
