Amazing Chile Relleno

Absolutely the best Chile Relleńo and Sangria I have ever eaten. I had a bite of my granddaughter's burrito and it was excellent also. I highly recommend this for an amazing meal. I will return soon.

Great food, top notch service. There is parking to side of the restaurant, and we stopped in for lunch before heading downtown.

This was my well kept secret while I lived in Las Vegas that I saved for myself and visiting friends. Main Street is a scandal that needs to be cleaned up and refurbished but, that being said, El Sombrero is the real deal. Small, no frills and GREAT reasonable fare. Highly recommended.

Every bite was delicious! This restaurant features gourmet Mexico City-inspired quisine in an elegant and yet comfortable atmosphere. The chili relleno was perfect and the hangar steak special delicious. The prices are very reasonable for good-sized portions that satisfied my boyfriend and filled me up too! Excellent service; the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. A great place... More

Found this place online searching for somewhere to eat away from the noise and overpriced chains that inhabit the Strip. From the outside, this place does not look like much... Even our cabbie was skeptical about the location and actually got out of the cab to look inside before driving away, lest we be walking into something dangerous. Once inside,... More

T-Bone Steak, and Chicken Tamales were excellent. Great service, fair prices, easy parking, cool downtown location. Only one suggestion though, add acoustical tiles to the ceiling to lessen the noise. We could not hear ourselves or the waiter talking. Otherwise, we love the place.

Stumbled on this place on my last trip to Vegas and it will be a staple from now on. Jose, the server, and the rest of the staff were fantastic. The food was amazing and the Sangria was probably the best I've ever had. Do not let the location scare you away - off-strip dining is always the best Vegas... More

Went to a birthday party at El Sombrero with my girlfriends mexican family and was very disappointed with the food. It was very plain and seriously lacked the spice that I expected. Seems like they made it really bland and I will never go back there. The service was slow as well and the cost was more than expected.

So, when we drove up, we thought, WOW, this is a real 'hole in the wall' restaurant. We went there because a cousin recommended it. What a wonderful surprise !! The restaurant was clean, and had great decor. What a pleasurable dining experience. The waiter was great, and had a good sense of humor. We felt like we'd been there... More
