Consistently good food without excessive fanfare

Sure, Emeril has been around a while and doesn't have the cache of some other name chefs with Vegas outlets. Yes, his restaurants have been there longer than average. Indeed, it's usually not the place that comes top of mind when we think about where to eat at MGM Grand. Yet, we've been there... read more

Busy Friday evening - the restaurant was full but we had made a reservation for a table for 4. Great sounding menu choices. I had the Pan Roast which was delicious, other members of the party had the BBQ Salmon which look amazing and the pasta dish - all of which everyone enjoyed. The staff were very attentive and the... Not much good to say about my lunch experience. Restaurant was very quiet and sat at the bar. Took a long time to get a glass of wine - server/bartender never poured tasting for wine by the glass - wine ended up being corked. Ordered the seafood boil - shrimp was grossly overcooked, sausage had zero flavor and corn was... More

This is a decent restaurant for the Strip, food was very good, cocktails where good also. Only complaint is I was placed at a table right at the edge of the restaurant, next to the main MGM resort walkway and between the smell of cigarette smoke and everyone walking past 2 feet away from your table to and from the... The double cut port chop was excellent. It was super tender and served over mashed potato's. It was the best pork chop I have ever had! Service was great. No wonder this place opened when the MGM Grand did and it is still there!

We decided to splurge and pick a famous restaurant for our last night in vegas. We called the restaurant directly because on line we couldn't get a reservation until 10pm...too late for us. We got the reserve for 8pm..perfect. The service was wonderful, the drinks arrived promptly, and my gumbo was delicious...the crawfish looked like miniature shrimp and tasted like... More

I was in the mood for some clam chowder rather than the standard conference fair I had been enduring for the week. I stopped by Emeril's for a light lunch. However by the time I had perused the menu and chatted to the Waitor, he persuaded me I should try the Seafood tower. This is a dish that should be... More

My godchild has severe food allergies. Emeril's handled it like a champ! The food was excellent. I had the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. My girlfriend had their shrimp cocktail and the sea bass. The kids shared a steak with mashed potatoes (their favorite side dish) with asparagus. They raved about mashed potatoes and cleaned their plates which... More
