It is located in the pool area of the hotel and the service is very good, anyone can stay for lunch while enjoying the sun, sitting in your lounge pool chairs or the outside patio tables and chairs.

Went to this place for a birthday celebration. We were very optimistic, but were very much disappointed. The cajun shrimp appetizer was like chewing on rubber. Shellfish doesn't take long to cook, but apparently the chef was unaware of this. My 12 oz. filet ($59) was ordered medium rare, but when I received it it was barely pink in the... More

VooDoo Cafe at the Rio is Overpriced.. Food is no better than any other steakhouse and priced twice as much. They also charge people just for going up to the top to overlook the strip. This is a rip off and I refuse to pay for this

At a really good steakhouse it is all about the steak not the sauces and reductions that they put on the steaks. Steaks were above average for a moderately priced steakhouse but for the price of dry aged beef, it was disappointing. Sides were Ok but the service was wonderful and you can't beet the atmosphere at 80 floors above... More

We both had the Lobster Thermidor. At $75 a plate you would expect a good dish. My wifes was fair with the lobster meat on the tasteless side. My lobster was chewy and over cooked. Since I couldn't eat mine I shared with my wife's and we were not charged for the one plate. They didn't seem to care when... More

Over priced, plus the menu was misleading with cuts of steak that do not exist...perhaps a typo or just ignorance.

Service was good and the food better than average. I had a bone in ribeye my wife chicken. The bread was fresh and sides are al a carte. The dining area wasn't noisy even thought the lounge and nightclub is upstairs. We went at 6 so it could be at later hours.

Why the title? In New York or San Francisco - or even Chicago or my hometown of Kansas City - this would be a 3 rating. But Vegas is about packaging, and the packaging at Voodoo is commendable. The steaks? Good quality, no better or worse at predicting what YOU mean by "medium" or "medium rare" than any other average... More
