Love the 38 special

I love this place for their omelets. It was always the place I took my dad when he came to visit. He loved the 38 special as does my husband. And my kids love the pumpkin bread . Yummmmmm

The ORIGINAL Omelet House opened in 1978 and is still the ORIGINAL one. Others have come and gone and none of them can compare to the "Old Las Vegas" food, service or decorative surroundings. Whether it is for breakfast (Omelets are the best along with hot banana bread) or for lunch you had better be hungry and not in a... More

If you like breakfast, this is the place. 6-egg omlettes, homemade chips, good breads. This is a must go-to place when I come back.

We had a decent good breakfast. Service was fast. Nice servers. I had eggs benedict. The hash browns were crispy and real good. Food is pretty good, not the best. But a nice, comfortable place to have breakfast. The Omelets are huge.

Went to vegas to visit our son and he took us here. Very cozy, affordable and the portions are huge! The food is made fresh, served hot and the service is the best around! We have been back each time we go to Vegas. It is one place we do not skip.

OK the food is good at this local restaurant and the price is OK. Watch for those special like 3 egg omelet $6 or 6 egg omelet for $7, for a dollar more why not. I think this place is a little to far off the strip to go and over eat.

39 different types of omelets, plus lots of other choices. I like to eat but I should have ordered the smaller omelet. The banana nut bread was hot and delicious. Our server was great, he has all 39 omelets memorized, was very friendly, and was always there to keep our coffee cups filled.

My wife and I each ordered an omelette. They were good and the potato chips accompanying the meal were yummy. Not at all a healthy meal, but this place has a charm to it and the food was good. Our waitress was welcoming and friendly.

I ordered the Western Omelet. I should have ordered the "small size". The "Regular size" looked like a 12 egg omelet with all the fixins along with toast and potatoes (which are more like potato chips than home fries). Good place for breakfast. Has good selection and good food.
