Hugo's was a place that I had been wanting to try for some time so when my boyfriend and I eloped it was the must do first meal as husband and wife. It is a very old restaurant that does have charm. It is a very good meal not my favorite and not the best steak I have had in... More

This place is old school, 5 star, superb dining! Great little romantic spot on Fremont! If you are looking for class and exceptional service in a steak house, then this is the only place!

This room appears the same as it has since the 80's. Waiters in tux, a red rose for the ladies, table side preparation, low lighting. Above average food very well presented. Quiet and somewhat romantic. Around $75-$100 for 2 before cocktails, wine & tip. Enjoyable Old Las Vegas atmosphere.

This place was recommended to us by a friend in the casino business back east. It lived up to his recommendation in every way. Most modern restaurants don't bother with all the little touches like custom table side salads, flambé dishes, roses for the ladies, and numerous other classy items that I won't list for fear of spoiling the surprise.... Ok, we were researching where to have our one nice splurge meal in Vegas and so glad we chose this one!!!! took the bus from the strip at 6pm for an 8pm reservation on a Tuesday, so it was very non sketchy at this time, we strolled Fremont, had a drink, tried some blackjack and then it was time for... We wanted our friends to experience Fremont Street, so we went "downtown". We checked trip advisor for "best restaurant downtown". Hugo's Cellar was one of two listed. I don't think I had ever been in The Four Queens casino before but boy what a find. This is an old establishment. Our sommelier talked of "The Rat Pack" having eaten here.... More

We always make sure to visit Hugo's Cellar when we are in Vegas. The table side salad is amazing. The sommelier, Jon, always finds us a reasonably priced wine that tastes fabulous. The food is always prepared perfectly. It's not a cheap restaurant but is worth every penny.

The restaurant is actually in a cellar like location in the Four Queens downtown. It's a throwback to Rat Pack Vegas with lots of reds and deep colors. Great, nicely dressed staff and over the top touches like a rose for the ladies. We had dinner with another couple and enjoyed ourselves. If I wanted to be critical, it was... More

I have been here about half a dozen times in the past 35 years, and it has not changed one bit. The service and atmosphere is really the only reason to go here. The food is just average, but you feel like you are transported back in time. If you have never been here, it is a must see.
