Same cozy atmosphere & red rose for the ladies, but what I really missed was the excellent service. They were always so "polished" in their communication with customers. This time, everyone from the waiter, to the salad guy, to the guy who served the water was just kind of "bla"....like they weren't really very happy about being there. It just... More

Hugo's actually has provided the 2nd and 3rd best meals I have ever enjoyed. Why not first? I was fortunate enough to have dinner in the Battle Room within the Palace of Versailles in France so 2nd and 3rd for Hugo's is a grand compliment. I have been to Las Vegas exactly twice and dined at Hugo's both times and... More

Best Manhattan and best salad around. Manhattan comes with a 2nd manhattan back up for like 12$. Salad cart is choose your own and waiter makes at the table. Great steak and a good value. Entrees come with a salad, side order, and some chocolate covered strawberries for desert. Our bill was a little over 100$ for 2 entress and... More

I love Hugo's Cellar and used to go when I ate fish. I wasn't sure what they would be able to offer as a vegetarian, and when I asked the waiter he was sort of thrown. But they bent over backwards to make a beautiful plate of veggies for me! The rose they give you is a nice touch and... More

For years we have been going downtown to the seedier part of Las Vegas to the Four Queens. Not the classy new hotels but a lower end place. You go down in a cellar and are transported to a dining experience of a lifetime. It is not cheap but once you have eaten there you will be back. Salad is... More

We were recommended Hugo's Cellar by two different people so we knew there had to be something special about this place. A lot of locals we encountered in Vegas were shocked that we were going to Hugo's as it seems to be less well known to tourists. We made reservations on a Friday night, and upon arrival, my friend and... More

It started with a long stem rose for all the women in our party. A very nice start to our delicious evening. In the cellar of the Four Queens in downtown Las Vegas this classy restaurant recommended by one in our party worked perfect for our birthday celebrations. I can't say it was quiet and romantic where we were seated... More

Whilst planning our list of things to do in Las Vegas a TA reviewer kindly recommended Hugo’s as a piece of LV history whilst at the same time having a meal to remember. She was right on both counts, thanks! We booked an 8pm Saturday table, on line, a month before, so plan ahead for weekends. You will have seen... More

I ate at Hugo's with 4 other ladies and found the place to be loud and the food marginal. There was a table of 6 men next to us who were loud, obnoxious and foul mouthed. We had gone there for a quiet dining experience yet felt like we were in a local bar with them sitting nextntomus. The food... More

We were seeing a comedian in the nearby Golden Nugget, so we made reservations at Hugo's for dinner. Even if you don't have plans to see a show, the restaurant is worth the trip. It is a five star restaurant despite being in a cellar, which just added to the charm. The wait staff was incredible and the food reasonably... More
