Description: This intimate, small trattoria has the spirit and the charm you would find on Italy and other countries off the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The Chef Daniele Dotti, a native of Venice, has created an eclectic menu that brings to the table the flavors, the traditional recipes and the freshness of ingredients so typical of this region. Our Mediterranean Sea Bass is delicious but if you are in the mood for good pasta try our Linguine Mare Nostrum with a variety of sea food and fresh tomato or our special house made fresh pasta Fettucine Casanova. Now you can enjoy all of this right in the middle of the Grand Canal Shoppes, just a few feet away from Italian gondolas. The atmosphere and the decor are informal and friendly and children are welcome, but at night it can be ideal for a good glass of wine and a romantic dinner.

Food was absolutely delicious, my husband had a vodka penne & I had the gnocchi which were so tender. These were served with all the bread we wanted. More than enough for us to eat. Very happy with our decision to try the Casanova.

Italian food is often difficult for me to be fair in reviewing as I am use to authentic Italian cooking within my familia. With that in mind, the menu had something to offer everyone in my group of eight. Each person commented on the deliciousness of their food. I can only speak of the cheese ravioli which had a unique... More

The veal piccata was too salty. The side of pasta was good. Staff was quick to refill water, but didn't ask how our food tasted. Risotto was also good. With all the restaurants available at the Venetian, I won't be returning to this one.

We had a great meal here. The saganaki was unusual as it was delicious. Our main course was a Greek style penne pasta, also delicious and a generous portion. On top of the culinary delights, our server Wencesldo was a gem, attentive and made wonderful suggestions, make sure you ask for him!! Be sure to end your meal with a... More

This restaurant is close to the Venetian food court and just a bit less open than the food court outlets! We had steak and eggs for breakfast, yes, I know, that's a pretty heavy breakfast but our excuse was that it was getting close to lunchtime! The steak was very tender and well-grilled and marinated! It wasn't too big like... More

Staying at The Venetian with kids can be a challenge. The variety of food is amazing. We found Casanova while desperately looking for a family friendly place to eat. Whilst many places say they welcome kids they really don't like we discovered at Battali yesterday. Casanova was just the ticket. Great good, great service and value. Best value breakfast here... The restaurant looks charming. It's in a good location along the Canal Shoppes, and I really expected something that was at least good and maybe great. The food was edible but on par with canned Italian food. My ravioli was rubbery. My husband's spaghetti was bland. The bread was good and the view was good. I'm glad that many other... More

The only complaint I have is that they did not have fresh brewed tea available when I sat down at 1245p, but they did brew it for me, and the guys have been great! Very pleased....

We had a great breakfast here having walked up to the Venetian, we had a lovely table and the service was very slick and friendly, my Eggs Benedict were very good and my wife's breakfast combo was a good sized portion and she said it was really well cooked. Unlimited coffee for 3.50 dollars seemed a little expensive BUT they... More

We had really fantastic food, but did not expect it because of the tables being in the middle of the "mall" walkway. It was very noisy because of this, but all of our food was great and made to order. We were pleasantly surprised. Next time, I think we'll ask for a table inside the tiny restaurant.
