Had a great lunch with some help from a local on what to order. Had the spicy pork and the el pastor. The el pastor was really tasty and the spicy pork was good. Every one there was fun and helpful. Price was certainly great for eating in Las Vegas and we were all filled up.

I have heard of Tacos el Gordo via a number of website reviews and podcasts over the years. Finally decided to try it on my past trip. Not being an expert in authentic Mexican food, I can say it was delicious. For us "gringos", it can be a little intimidating as there doesn't seem to be much of an orderly... More

It's good to find real tacos in the US and not the transgenic versions that say Mexican food and it's not. I won't say are the best tacos ever, but to be honest are pretty good. This place is always crowded.

It was late on the strip and we were looking for a quick but good meal before heading back to the hotel. We spotted this spot and decided to give it a try. The place was crowded which meant that the food had to be good. They offered tacos in seven different varieties of Meat, quesadillas and nopales. A Sure... More

Tacos El Gordo is an indoor taco stand that has some seating inside and the rest is outside in a tent. Depending when you go you may have to wait because everyone in Vegas is there in line for a taco. I can assure you - the wait is worth it! Absolutely delicious!

This place was on walking distance from my hotel and the price of the food was fear. I truly recommend all the taco... More

Point form - - the lineup is long and moves slow. As a newbie, this gave us time to make friends and ask questions though. - All tacos $2 or $3 - Tortillas made in front of you, meat cut from the rotisserie fresh - You can have steak (asada) or spicy pork (adobada) with as few or as many... More

Not too many things on the menu: tacos with beef shoulder (our fave), steak (also delicious), spicy pork (nice), tripe/beef brain/tongue (yikes, not for me). USD 2 per pop. Three-four are sufficient. No frills, but very high quality. Highly recommended.

Super yummy tacos with freshly made tortillas. Lines are long but move fairly fast. Their asada fries amazing. Great portions of meat on each taco. Free refills on fountain drinks. Plenty of drink selections also. Had to stop by again before coming back to CA
