Oh my God. Did I just say that? Well, the food is really good. Lots of variety for my husband who wanted some soul food. He ate taco Del lengua, and beef steak tacos. I ordered veggie tacos, and the taste was good, a bit greasy. Anyway coming back to the smoke. It's just from the cooking and frying. I'm... More

Great late night weekend eats. A friend told me about this little gem on the north end of the strip. Good prices too.

We walked all the way to the Tacos el Gordo from Bellagio, hoping for a great deal and a great taco today (12/15). Unfortunately, when we got there, the restaurant was no longer there. The Tacos el Gordo sign has been taken down, the Sushi & BBQ sign are still up, but the restaurant is completely empty. We called the... More

We visit Tacos el Gordo every time we visit Las Vegas. The location on Charleston is still open - but the Las Vegas Blvd location is closed. A little further drive from the strip but well worth the extra time.

Authentic mexican food. Came here after a night of clubbing, lines were long but we had to try it. Had the spicy pork tacos, steak tacos and the carne aside fries. Everything was so good and delicious, best tacos I have had in a long time. I came here twice during my stay. Location is close to the Wynn hotel.

The tacos were delicious. Service was fast despite the amount of people there. Everybody was really nice and polite. If you love tacos is a must go place in Vegas. Tortillas are handmade and the green salsa is on point.

I have a unhealthy obsession of tacos. I refuse to seek treatment unless that treatment is more tacos. I have been many places both north and south of the border. This place has the best tacos al pastor north of Mexico I have ever tasted. Long lines were a tip off but well worth the wait. The meat was tasty... More

We were in the area so decided to give Tacos El Gordo a try, after reading so many positive reviews. What a neat place! Carne adobada tacos were excellent and tasted just like in Mexico. They are on the small side so plan to buy two or three per person for a meal, and grab plenty of napkins because they... More

Vile. Yelp steered me wrong. El Taco Gordo is disgusting. You show up and there's a giant flat-top griddle. You have to go to a different station for each meat you order. (Annoying.) My asada ("steak," in theory) tasted like little gristly chicklets of shoe leather. I spent the rest of my night cradling my stomach in agony. AVOID AT... More

6 tacos in one sitting. I dream about them almost daily since June. Need I say more? Just go there!! The line for the beef tacos is shorter, just walk straight through the door and skip the massive line. ;)
