No Love Lost

I really wanted to like this place. Celebrated my dad's 80th b-day there on February 14th but was not feeling the love. A party of 11 and while the food was fine ... the terrible service utterly ruined the occasion. Where to start? Our waiter never asked if we needed more wine; a 45 minute delay... read more

From the moment the one foot thick door swings open separating the Royal Resort and The Barrymore one is transported into an old film motif with an old school charm. Our waiter was complete with a thick European accent and the waters were kept at the brim among our party of 10. I had a NY Strip steak. Med rare... More

I originally found this advertised in a local Vegas magazine & decided to give it a try after also seeing and purchasing a groupon for it. Its inside of a strange little dive hotel that looks remodeled and you would not expect this to be as nice inside as it is but when you walk in, its beautiful. Really reminds... More

It is just off the bad end of the Strip (walking distance from Wynn/Encore), it a 2nd tier type of hotel, but this restaurant is all first class. Absolutely delicious, very romantic, with a decor that harkens back to 1960's Vegas. I will definitely go back again, especially for a special occasion (we went for Valentine's). My only grip is... Dined at The Barrymore for Valentines Day. Lovely service, atmosphere and food. The best foie gras I've ever eaten. Beautiful dining room in an offbeat location! Great and reasonably priced wine list. The beef Wellington was very tender, with a rich sauce. If you are looking for something different it is a must.

Even the concierge did not know this one... its like a Vegas secret for now. Had a nice but quiet amount of people dining without a casino Ka-ching anywhere in site or earshot. Our wait staff was informative but unobtrusive. Our cocktails were to our exact request which was a little complicated. My 18 hour roasted Lamb shank nicely browned... More

Very cool place - makes you feel like you entered a cool old Las Vegas with great food and I minute from the Strip and Wynn. Food was very nice much better than most and the staff was wonderful - a fun place that is not overpriced with great food, great old Vegas ambience and wonderful staff!!!!

My man and I have been here twice. It's quite elegant and the food is excellent. They accommodate vegans; which I was very happy. The atmosphere is romantic and quiet. The restaurant is tucked away in a little hole in the wall, located in an older casino. When you enter in for the first time, you are quite surprised at... More

Two different locals recommended this place. I'm so glad we went. The steaks were amazing. The lobster was good too. Our server seemed to struggle a bit. Served everyone the wrong meal, couldn't answer simple questions. I think there was a language barrier. Still our meal was great and we will return.

We celebrated a major anniversary with 50 friends from all over the country. The staff at the Barrymore were incredible to work with planning the event. Stevie is the best planner! Working with her made all the planning incredibly easy. Paul, the sommelier, helped us pick affordable wines to pair perfectly with the menu we selected. Rebecca, their pastry chef... More
