With all the great reviews, I'm not quite sure what I'm missing about Monta Ramen. I found the dining room very small, crowded and a little lacking on the cleanliness. The staff seemed to be very busy, but very distant and inconsistent with service. The ramen, kimchi fried rice, tanaka fried rice and the pork belly bowl were all very... More

This is a "highly recommended" place in LV for Japanese Ramen, just about 22-24 seats inside with long lines. The staff all looked and acted like they hate working there, the mood is just plain unhappy. Food was just okay but not great, soup base was bland and chashu fatty and tasteless. Overall disappointing, you can get better Ramen in... More

Since our other "go to" ramen place shut down, we decided to return to Monta only to realize that it's not as good as we recall when we first ate here after returning from a Japan trip last year. We began to be obsessed with ramen and ate here 2x per month. We came here one time and the wait... More

My friend recommended that the next time I'm in Las Vegas, I drive to this place and give it a try. I drove there from The Strip today (a Tuesday) and I would say that it took me under 20 minutes. I went there close to lunch time. I had the Miso Ramen. For a drink, I told them to... More

We stumbled on this place while finding Raku (and realizing you needed a reservation at Raku); it's just down the sidewalk (both are in a strip mall) and we noticed it immediately due to the crowd of folks standing outside waiting to get in. We put our name on the list and were told it would be 30 minutes -... More

Although we love ramen, our expectations tend to be pretty low because we don't have any in our local area. Based off reviews we chose this place. We tried the shoyu ramen, miso ramen, and pork belly bowl. None of them were particularly appetizing and I would never come back.

Ventured out to china town from the strip in search of ramen, for me it was just OK. Had tonkatsu ramen and it was good, although I have had better.

If you like ramen Monta is a must. Beware, the place is crazy popular with long lines. There is also another Monta resturant on the other side of town which is not as busy...just as good...look for it.

Stopped by on a Sunday night for dinner. I was alone, so I was able to walk in and sit at the counter. There were 4-5 groups waiting inside and out for a table. There are only a few tables, and I imagine the wait on Friday's and Saturdays is long. Ordered the Tonkotsu-Shoyu Ramen and an order of Gyoza.... More
