My sister asked me to find a good place to have pre-Christmas dinner with our Mom in Las Vegas and I actually found Scarpetta by searching for top rated restaurants near the strip with foie gras. Seriously. I need my foie gras. With the recent foie gras ban in California keeping me from one of my favorite delicacies, I definitely... More

Going to Vegas? Make reservations in advance at Scarpetta in the cosmopolitan. Don't forget your credit card because it will be an expensive meal especially if you enjoy a bottle of wine with dinner. Martinis are approximately $20 each. Weekends are very crowded and quite and the room is quite noisy. As a result service suffers. A better bet is... More

Very good food, a nice view of the strip as well. Called ahead and spoke with the sommelier about the wine menu - he was very helpful and accommodating. I ended up bringing in a bottle of my own and he decanted for us. Corkage fee was very reasonable at $35.

I've eaten several times at this restaurant over the years but something has gone terribly wrong. The restaurant wasn't crowded yet the service was terrible. We dined at 8 pm and didn't get out until 10:30. I love relaxing meals but the wait between courses was inexcusable. Our waiter went missing between courses. We were never offered the chance to... This was our only formal dinner of our Vegas break. First the greating was great and the table by the window had a great view of the fountains. The wine list was quite expensive setting the tone of the restaurant in fine dining territory which this is not. The food was ok but not great. For 200 buck meal I... More

The servers were very friendly and knowledgable. Service was great. However, we would have needed a reservation if we wanted to sit in the main dining area. We had to sit in the bar area, which was still nice. The food was average tasting and expensive. We had a scallop appetizer that was average. I tried a lobster pasta dish... More

First, the view of the Bellagio Fountains made this dinner feel magical from the beginning. The staff was very knowledgeable about the menu, recommending some wonderful selections from the menu and also choosing a nice wine for our entrees. I would definitely visit this location again.

The food was astounding. That is the first thing that anyone should take away from this. However, you don't just pay for food when the price point reaches this level and that is where I think they could do a little better. There was a noticeable difference in our server's attention for our table versus the four-top next to us.... More

This was our second experience with Scarpetta (the firs one being in NYC) and it was still as great as we had remembered it to be. In NYC we had the DUCK & FOIE GRAS RAVIOLI and the SHORT RIB & BONE MARROW AGNOLOTTI. Both were absolutely fantastic- easily the best pasta either of us have ever had. This time... More

Went there with customers. It was very good, fresh and have a great wine list. Honestly, if you want better value for your money, go next door, same owner, same wine list and honestly even better food ! DOCG (next door) has an amaaaazing grilled octopus with chickpeas apetizer and really great fish. At Scarpetta, basically, you buy an atmosphere... More
