Old School Diner Type Food

Enjoy an easy, diner style dinner with friends. A boisterous crowd makes this a fun place to eat, the portions are big, the price is good and the shrimp cocktail is still $3.99.

Had breakfast... There was a line so you need to get there early. It's like an old fashion style diner. Very busy! Lots of baked goods to order. I got the bacon and eggs with hash browns and subbed a fresh baked muffin for the toast. This place was not cheap, but convenient. If we stay on Fremont again, we... More

Went downtown for a little fun. Had a free meal from Golden Gate. Prices are inflated but its pretty easy to earn comp dollars. Food was worth it to me. I was just talking about some of the other comments on prices. Got the Bacon Avacado Burger. Delicious! Next Time Gotta do SHRIMP $3.99

What can I say? Going to keep this review short and sweet. Got burger and fries and cola. Got seated right away. Loved the food. Price was reasonable. Staff friendly. Place was clean. Waiting time for meal was about right. Check out the picture of my meal. I will warn you but -it'll make your mouth water and your stomach... More

Stopped in for the Denver omelets. Service was a bit slow - it appeared we arrived in the lull between rushes. One of our party ordered orange juice - freshly squeezed, it brought a smile to his face. The 4 of us ordered Denver omelets and toast. When our meal arrived, we were presented with "a loaf of bread, toasted"... More

A buddy of mine and I discovered Du-Par's several years ago after a late night arrival into town. I had the fried chicken, and it has ruined me for all other fried chicken. The boneless breast was pound thin and fried to perfection. The mashed potatoes are real, and the gravy and steamed veggies round out the meal. I eat... More

The Vegas stack pancakes were savory and worth the visit alone. The eggs and ham stake I shared with my wife made my visit a home run. I always visit the old style restaurant when I make it to downtown Las Vegas. The name has changed, but the breakfast remains excellent.

For only $ 3.99 the Shrimp Cocktail is a Must Have when in downtown Vegas. Decent size shrimp. Cocktail sauce has a bit of kick to it. Came with lemon & crackers. Very friendly service. Did not have a piece of pie but it sure looked good.

Sad to say this had to be one of my worst visits to Dupars. The food has not changed --as good as it always has been but I was not happy with the service this time. Just seemed like there way too many people taking care of our table and no one really knew what the other person was doing... More
