Yummy, yummy

Had a dinner and breakfast here. The split pea soup was too die for. And while they have lots of pies, the pecan pie I had was only so-so. Good breakfast, mid-range prices.

The staff is great and attentive first. Had a craving for fish and chips. I've had it here 3 years ago and it was good. Tried it this time and it was like leather. It used to be cod and their on line menu says cod, but the menu at the restaurant said - I think- turbot. I tried it... More

We stopped by here while visiting Freemont street in downtown Las Vegas. We figured average fare but we're pleasantly surprised. This diner has great food, great service and for Vegas, good prices. The portions are generous and the deserts are great.

Highly recommend!! Diner atmosphere. We had a little wait, but definitely didn't mind, you can check out some of the desserts/bakery items while waiting :) Our service was fantastic! & the food was great!! We were stuffed, but couldnt pass up on the bread pudding....We shared, I must say, one of the best we have had.

No trip to Fremont Street is complete without a trip to Du Par. Its a 24 hour diner in the Golden Gate. Its not a large restaurant, and its extremely popular, go early or be prepared to wait in line Du-Par is famous for many things, but two in particular: 1. Voted "best pancakes in America" 2. Introduced shrimp cocktail... More

Enjoy an easy, diner style dinner with friends. A boisterous crowd makes this a fun place to eat, the portions are big, the price is good and the shrimp cocktail is still $3.99.

Had breakfast... There was a line so you need to get there early. It's like an old fashion style diner. Very busy! Lots of baked goods to order. I got the bacon and eggs with hash browns and subbed a fresh baked muffin for the toast. This place was not cheap, but convenient. If we stay on Fremont again, we... More

Went downtown for a little fun. Had a free meal from Golden Gate. Prices are inflated but its pretty easy to earn comp dollars. Food was worth it to me. I was just talking about some of the other comments on prices. Got the Bacon Avacado Burger. Delicious! Next Time Gotta do SHRIMP $3.99

What can I say? Going to keep this review short and sweet. Got burger and fries and cola. Got seated right away. Loved the food. Price was reasonable. Staff friendly. Place was clean. Waiting time for meal was about right. Check out the picture of my meal. I will warn you but -it'll make your mouth water and your stomach... More
