I had previously eaten one of my best ever Las Vegas meals at the Border Grill in Mandalay Bay. On my December trip, we decided to try the new location at Caesars Palace Forum Shops. I usually have a good sense of direction, and I find the Caesars property and shops to be impossible to navigate. We spent 45 minutes... More

Looking for something different in Vegas and found the "Border Grill" a modern Mexican restaurant in the Forum shops at Cesars. I had the Red Snapper. Deep fried and served as a whole fish. It had olives and shaved jalapeños with a white wine. Very well presented and tasted great. Last time I had Red Snapper this good was in... More

This is the border Grill in Mandalay Bay. The food was fair, and very expensive. I would not recommend this restaurant as the flavor of the food did not reflect the price. I had the fish tacos, and did not like them. They had no flavor and tasted "fishy". Service was good , drinks were good.

I know there are two of these restaurants but I am reviewing the one in the Forum Shops. We had a very memorable meal here. The food was fresh and delicious, plus they make all kinds of exotic fruit drinks fresh to order. There is also a Ceviche bar, will try that next time. Service was very attentive and friendly.... Visited this Vegas venue at Xmas time for lunch. It has a smallish dining room and an outside patio area. It was pretty cool so we chose inside. Very crowded and very noisy. The tables are pretty close together so the surrounding table conversations are in your face if the occupants are loud. As for the food, I found it... More

We happen to stumble upon this culinary gem while visiting Mandalay Bay at lunch time as almost all the restaurants in the Casino were closed for lunch (Big surprise for Vegas). Last fine dining stop before you get to the food court from the casino floor. It oversees the Lazy River if you are seated on the patio, like we... More

For my first night in Vegas, my wife was taking clients out to dinner and we went to the Border Gill at Mandalay Bay. It is a nice place with a great atmosphere. The service was excellent. The menu had many genuine Mexican dishes. However, if you are expecting Tex-Mex or Cali-Mex, this is not this place. The quality of... More

Border Grill at Mandalay Bay is a fairly pleasant experience. The dining area was attractive and comfortable. We were seated promptly at the time we set for reservations after having an ample drink at the bar and the service was very good. But, as with all restaurant reviews, it's about the food. I've been to Border Grill before and I... More

My husband and I are in Vegas for business. We were invited for lunch here by an associate. We both ordered the short rib burrito, and it was delicious. Just the right amount of heat. The server was very courteous and attentive. We were impressed, and would come back.

We stopped for a quick bit after attending the Michael Jackson One performance. What a wonderful find this place was. Very reasonable prices and though we just had a few small plates, everything tasted great. We will go back for a full meal soon.
