My wife remembered this place from a previous visit at Mandalay, as the best mexican food she's had north of the border. This time around, the food was still very good, the drinks were borderline bad, and the service was a bit iffy. we seemingly had two servers, one had his act together, and the other, well maybe he was... We had a very pleasant dining experience here. I had forgotten to tell the waitress that I was lactose intolerant (a problem which is rather annoying to me.) When my food came the plantain empanadas had cheese in them and the green corn tamales had butter in the mix. I was disappointed and didn't have any pills with me. Our... More

It is more expensive than the corner taco truck, but it is extremely tasty food. The appetizer plate, "border trio"' is huge and made more than a meal for one person. Another friend had the pork dish and, again, too much for one person but it made a nice take-home dish. The service was excellent. One of our party had... More

Enjoyed the buffet one morning. Great variety of foods that all tasted delicious. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Good drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating! I recommend!!

I ate lunch there and the food was awesome and not over priced. It was packed at lunch time since there was a convention going on, yet the service was still surprisingly excellent given the number of people there. This was the best place I ate at in Mandalay.

On a recent business trip to Las Vegas, I was invited to dine with others in this large, convention center-centric restaurant in the Mandalay Bay. I must admit my dining companions raved about the food, so perhaps it was an off-night for me. But I found my meal uninspired, less than flavorful, not spicy at all, and a letdown after... More

We were staying at Mandalay Bay and wanted a late afternoon drink and appetizers before a big night out. There were five of us. We ordered a round of margaritas (5) and appetizers (5). The drinks took over 15 minutes to arrive. On Cinqo de Mayo! The food was really a mixed bag. The guacamole and salsas were good and... More

I took my wife to Border Grill after reading about it in a Food network publication. It is a little expensive, but worth it. Our service was good, and the food was great. A little out of the way, but will go back again.

We visited in early May and overall were a bit disappointed by the experience. The menu looked interesting and restaurant appeared to be selling a concept of high end Mexican with a twist. In reality the dishes when they arrived were a bit odd and frankly disappointing. Compared to some of the regular mexican restaurants around in Vegas, prices were... More

Our group of four dined at Border Grill on a recent Saturday. We were given the option of ordering from a brunch or lunch menu and we selected the lunch offerings. We ordered a wide variety of appetizers and soups and entrees. The food was delicious and plentiful. The creamed corn tamales were fantastic and the enchiladas were the best... More
