Welcome to Border Grill, Las Vegas' destination restaurant overlooking the Lazy River just off Mandalay Beach, where Chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger, Bravo's "Top Chef Masters" and Food Network's "Too Hot Tamales," want nothing more than to spice up your day. With two floors of patio dining, and a beautiful outdoor bar, it's the perfect setting for sipping margaritas and savoring the bold flavors of Mexico while enjoying views of the beach and pool. Border Grill Las Vegas is located in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. There's so much to do at Mandalay Bay. The Shark Reef, right next door to the restaurant, features sharks of all kinds, as well as a slew of exotic, predatory marine life. Stop by for fish tacos after and have the last word in the food chain.

Good food

Liked the fact that it served Mexican dishes - I had the scallop and shrimp dish and it was yummy. Would have loved it a bit spicier though. The restaurant is always busy but the wait staff are great and attentive.

I consider the Border Grill to be gourmet Mexican food. Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Millekin are the 2 chefs that started this restaurant. This location is in the Forum Shops in Las Vegas. We ate on their patio which is inside the Forum Shops. Our waitress brought us dishes "to try" that we really enjoyed. They will give you... More

Our experience was okay, we have been at the location in Los Angeles and it was really good, so we figured this location should be just as good. Not! First off they stuck us outside on the patio, it was very hot and they had no air conditioning and 1 very high ceiling fan! Second, the water had a funny... More

I have had many menu items and even though there Re many places to eat in Vegas, I keep going back to this one, fresh salsa and chips, great service and lots of vegetarian options.

Literally, a cook book featuring south-western food. We intended to avoid eating any place twice, but had to go back for their breakfast. Order as many dishes as you want, everything was delicious. Don't miss the experience.

I was very excited to try this restaurant for it's owners reputations of course but so disappointed with our experience here. It was the 4th of July so we made reservations to eat on the patio to perhaps enjoy the fireworks but wow was it ever hot! Of course, this was not their fault. We are from Texas so we... More

Visited Border Grill on a Monday evening before going to the MJ One show. We were quite tired from a transatlantic flight on the Sunday and found the dark ambiance of the restaurant made us very sleepy. The waitress asked if we wanted some nachos and guacamole to start, which we agreed but then noticed Guacamole was a $9.50 dish... More

If your looking for traditional Mexican this is probably not for you. They do a nice modern twist on Mexican food. The margaritas were great, the blood oranges has a bit of a kick. The service was great. We had Tortillas and dips to start followed by mains. The mains were perfect propositions not too small and not too large.

On our recent vacation trip to Las Vegas, we selected the "Border Grill", a Mexican restaurant located at the Mandalay bay. Our hosted Rashel was the most pleasant hostess you can ever ask for. We had the Ceviche's (Baja & original), the skirt steak nacho (which I think is fitting for 2) & a complimentary sweet/green corn tamales. Although it... More

Ordered here twice during our vacation, just to eat it poolside for lunch! The Chicken Quesadilla was awesome and so were the spicy shrimp tacos. Homemade tortillas and excellent nacho chips and different salsas to enjoy. Reasonably priced, and better than the "pool-side" menu choices they give you. The watermelon lemonade was wicked too!
