Guests are transported from the City of Sin to the Pacific Rim inside TAO Asian Bistro, a 44,000 square-foot, multi-story “Asian City” housing a restaurant, banquet facilities, lounge and nightclub. Lush velvets and silks, waterfalls and century-old woods and stones accentuate the experience, and the restaurant’s signature 20-foot Buddha watches over every corner of the restaurant while floating peacefully above an infinity pool complete with Japanese koi. Corporate Executive Chef Ralph Scamardella has developed a menu for the 400-seat restaurant by incorporating culinary components from China, Japan and Thailand. Signature dishes include offerings from sea, sky and land including Chilean Sea Bass Satay with Wok Roasted Asparagus, a preparation of Peking Duck that consistently receives accolades, and Kobe Beef Shabu Shabu along with a full sushi bar.

Great Food but to noisey

Was really looking forward to dining here since we had such an exceptional meal last visit. Chilean Sea Bass was excellent again but the Seafood Lobster Sand Pot was sub par...seafood was rubber and sauce was jelly like..too much cornstarch or something. Service was good and waiter did take the sand pot off our bill but next time we will... More

We dined a bit late after a customer event and had a fantastic and uncrushed meal. Great waitstaff, fabulous food, what more can you want? We decided on the chef's choice and tried lots of yummy dishes. The sea bass was to die for! It's a fun, cool spot and I recommend visiting. This was my fourth or fifth visit.

On entering you're struck by the gigantic Bhudda in the center of the restaurant which sets the theme although the overall décor was chic contemporary. I ordered the chili chicken. I like a sweet and hot taste but usually feel I need to add either a bit of hot sauce or some sweetening to the sauce- not here. It was... More

Wow ,we loved this restaurant ,everything from the décor service, food , and the music was perfect. Elegant simply elegant! The place is deceiving, from the outside it looks small yet once inside one realizes that its huge. I read a review before we left saying that the restaurant was extremely loud because of the club (adjoining) so I actually... More

Went here with my brother on our 3 day trip to vegas. We ordered the egg rolls and pork dunplings. Both were very tasty but I already got full from eating those :( I got the pad thai with tofu and it was huge. Very large portions. It was a little on the spicy side . Music was loud but... More

We dropped in here for a birthday dinner having heard good stuff from our hotel and wanting something a bit different. The staff were very helpful, making recommendations which turned out to be great. If you're into sushi or other Asian foods, this is a great place to check out.

This was our second year in a row celebrating a birthday at Tao in Vegas and it was just as good, if not better, than the first time! The stunning and massive Tao Restaurant is still quite a scene. The giant Buddha statue on the main floor adds to the stimulating ambiance. Although we did not have the same server... More

I really liked this place. The gigantic Buddha statue is a cool centerpiece to a cool restaurant. I don't go to restaurants to look cool though. I go to eat good food. Luckily Tao delivered. I had the Singapore mei fun, a standard noodle dish on thousands of menus. It was quite tasty, and the portion was substantial. Also, for... More
