Guests are transported from the City of Sin to the Pacific Rim inside TAO Asian Bistro, a 44,000 square-foot, multi-story “Asian City” housing a restaurant, banquet facilities, lounge and nightclub. Lush velvets and silks, waterfalls and century-old woods and stones accentuate the experience, and the restaurant’s signature 20-foot Buddha watches over every corner of the restaurant while floating peacefully above an infinity pool complete with Japanese koi. Corporate Executive Chef Ralph Scamardella has developed a menu for the 400-seat restaurant by incorporating culinary components from China, Japan and Thailand. Signature dishes include offerings from sea, sky and land including Chilean Sea Bass Satay with Wok Roasted Asparagus, a preparation of Peking Duck that consistently receives accolades, and Kobe Beef Shabu Shabu along with a full sushi bar.

Tasty Food but Pricey

My friends and I dined here before a show on the Strip. We arrived early enough to be seated right away. They located us in the upper dining area which was nice as we had a view of the Buddha and the restaurant without all the crowd noise. Our wait staff was very attentive but did not make any... read more

I ate the best steak I have ever eaten here. It had a wasabi crust and the meat just melted in my mouth. Excellent service too.

My daughter and I had dinner here while my husband had a date with the casino:) So glad that we did! The appetizer was great, drinks fabulous and the fried rice was a show stopper. Our wait staff was so attentive and we absolutely enjoyed them. The overall atmosphere was super sexy and the vibe was insane. It was a... More

The vibe of this restaurant is super sexy! when you walk in the door you walk through a hallway of gorgeous women in rose petal filled bathtubs. The lighting is gorgeous/dim and the decor is very interesting and laid out beautifully. The food is INCREDIBLE the crispy rice with spicy tuna is to die for... we had 4 servings of... More

The food was mediocre. Things you could get at any other restaurant. Nothing to write home about. The cauliflower made us all sick. Way too expensive for the food.

The menu is Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai. or anything Asian. Food is quite good, but very expensive. Portions are small, but of good quality. If you eat dinner, you can get in the niteclub with no cover charge. We saw this restaurant on the food network, so thought we'd give it a try. Not sure if I would go back.... More

We visited Tao on the last night of our holiday. The waitress was very helpful and made excellent menu suggestions. We opted to start with crab cakes and satay chicken; both were tasty and the satay sauce was delicious. For our main we had peking duck, which was tasty but not shredded as I was expecting and it was a... More

The restaurant reminds me of Buddakkan. We were a party of 12 & the waiter told us you should order an entree & appetizer for each person. Even though my daughter tried to convince everyone this was not accurate they followed his suggestion. The amount of food left was so wasteful. The food was tasty & beautifully presented.

We've always enjoyed the tasty creations at Tao and because of that we return each visit to Las Vegas to discover what new temptations have been added to the menu. The place is energized; the ambiance is upbeat and lively. Even with all the activity, the experience can be a romantic one. And once the night sets in, a lively... More
