Description: Guests are transported from the City of Sin to the Pacific Rim inside TAO Asian Bistro, a 44,000 square-foot, multi-story “Asian City” housing a restaurant, banquet facilities, lounge and nightclub. Lush velvets and silks, waterfalls and century-old woods and stones accentuate the experience, and the restaurant’s signature 20-foot Buddha watches over every corner of the restaurant while floating peacefully above an infinity pool complete with Japanese koi. Corporate Executive Chef Ralph Scamardella has developed a menu for the 400-seat restaurant by incorporating culinary components from China, Japan and Thailand. Signature dishes include offerings from sea, sky and land including Chilean Sea Bass Satay with Wok Roasted Asparagus, a preparation of Peking Duck that consistently receives accolades, and Kobe Beef Shabu Shabu along with a full sushi bar.

Staff and service is excellent. The food was even better. The drinks are fantastic. I think this place has improved. Can't wait to go back

I attended a private and elegant event in the opium room, food and service were superb, and the buzz in the elegant restaurant was high. Asian fare prepared at the few stations set up in the room. Lines to get in, if not the fortunate holder of an invite

Went for my husband's 30th birthday dinner that I made reservations for. Granted, they will make you wait regardless for your table, but at least we had a chance to sit and have a beverage before they took us to our table, which was probably about a 20 minute wait. The food was delicious, we ordered a sushi roll and... More

I was staying at the Venetian for a work conference and had dinner here with a friend. I been to the Tao Resturant in NYC and this one is by far the best in service.

The club is great if you feel like being over crowded, felt up by strangers and paying 22 for a drink. No room to dance unless you get on the stage, if you looking for music or a place to hang out, definately head to the lower floor.

Went twice while attending a fair. First evening just had a drink, and service was mediocre at best although the bar was far from busy. Second evening I had dinner there with friends and clients. Service was much better, food was OK.

Tao is probably my favourite restaurant in Vegas. If you go, make sure to have the steamed vegetable dumplings, and try some of the tempura vegetables. So good!

The ambiance is amazing!! So, we booked it for our anniversary dinner. It was not great. People are CRAMMED a in next to each other. Our waiter was friendly, but it was clear that our 2-top wasn't his biggest concern. Their GF PadThai was good, but not even close to the best I've ever had. The edamame appetizer was fine;... More

We came to Tao for dinner with a group of 9 girls for a Bachelorette Party and had a great time. The food is amazing; we ordered family style to get a taste of as much as possible. The Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass was probably one of the best dishes I have ever tried. You definitely want to call... More

It is OK place if you are in a mood for Asian style food with a bit of the modern twist. Food is solid but not exceptional. Priced moderately for its location. Service is good, and place is packed. So you may consider reservation.
