Description: Guests are transported from the City of Sin to the Pacific Rim inside TAO Asian Bistro, a 44,000 square-foot, multi-story “Asian City” housing a restaurant, banquet facilities, lounge and nightclub. Lush velvets and silks, waterfalls and century-old woods and stones accentuate the experience, and the restaurant’s signature 20-foot Buddha watches over every corner of the restaurant while floating peacefully above an infinity pool complete with Japanese koi. Corporate Executive Chef Ralph Scamardella has developed a menu for the 400-seat restaurant by incorporating culinary components from China, Japan and Thailand. Signature dishes include offerings from sea, sky and land including Chilean Sea Bass Satay with Wok Roasted Asparagus, a preparation of Peking Duck that consistently receives accolades, and Kobe Beef Shabu Shabu along with a full sushi bar.

This was my fourth visit to Tao and I was even more impressed than the others. Service was excellent and the food outstanding. I had a Chilean sea bass that melted in the mouth (I'm not exagerating). It is a pricy restaurant, but it is worth every penny.

Beautiful venue! The giant Buddah floating over the koi fish pond, makes you feel you are somewhere in Thailand. Great food and great service. If you are in Vegas stop by Tao and try some of their small plates. The chilie sea bass is to die for.

Tao Restaurant is not only a restaurant fit for foodies, but also is quite a showplace to bring people and share in the ambiance. With it's high ceilings, stunning decor, and a giant Buddha supervising everything, just dinner becomes an experience. The service is amazing with great guidance to help decide on myriad asian fusion goodies.

This restaurant lives up to its hype, and my mouth is watering just thinking about it again. We tried the pork buns (phenomenal!), sushi and followed up with coconut shrimp. The Taotini cocktail was delicious... and those little donuts for dessert!!! Great decor. Ask for a table upstairs overlooking the koi pond. Service was fabulous. What a magical night!

My only regret is that I left it at the last day to eat here. The food matched the dramatic interior...mysterious, delicate and super delicious. I will recommend this to anyone in Vegas. I know, this place seems like a cliche as every celebrity has been here. Now I know. it's for a really good reason that the food and... More

Trendy club and restaurant with delicious food. Service is very good and restaurant is ON late into the night. The club is open to diners after dinner. Typical club, would return for the food.

What an experience this evening was for me and my colleagues! I wanted to go to this restaurant because quite honestly it is always in the gossip magazines as the celebrity hangout. I had stopped by last year for a glass of wine but had never gone for dinner until last week. The entrance is absolutely gorgeous with two rows... More

We made day of reservations for 9pm over Open Table for 4 people on a Friday night. Greeted nicely from the hostess stand and seated immediately. The server was wonderful and the atmosphere was great! Such fun décor. Our group ordered some apps and then sushi for the table. The dumpling soup is wonderful! Our friend asked for something that... First class property under high quality staff supervision. Ambience borders on set design with the highlight being an enormous authentic collection of antique ivory opium pipes expertly displayed in fifty five individual lit silk boxes. Oh yes and then there is the two story tall Buddha reminiscent of the Buddha bar in Paris. The food is competent but it's the... More
