Guests are transported from the City of Sin to the Pacific Rim inside TAO Asian Bistro, a 44,000 square-foot, multi-story “Asian City” housing a restaurant, banquet facilities, lounge and nightclub. Lush velvets and silks, waterfalls and century-old woods and stones accentuate the experience, and the restaurant’s signature 20-foot Buddha watches over every corner of the restaurant while floating peacefully above an infinity pool complete with Japanese koi. Corporate Executive Chef Ralph Scamardella has developed a menu for the 400-seat restaurant by incorporating culinary components from China, Japan and Thailand. Signature dishes include offerings from sea, sky and land including Chilean Sea Bass Satay with Wok Roasted Asparagus, a preparation of Peking Duck that consistently receives accolades, and Kobe Beef Shabu Shabu along with a full sushi bar.

We were there for dinner recently and ordered the Peking Duck, advertised as "authentic". My wife is from China and assures me that it wasn't even close - the bread is more like a dry pita than a pancake. The portions were very small - not much meat on that duck! $8.00 for water! Bottom line: The service was fine... More

Started with an excellent cocktail, the "Dragon Slayer". We followed with Chilean sea bass, tempura green beans, shrimp and onion rings. Dim Sum with pork and lobster rolls to finish. Everything was delightful and did not break the bank. A must visit whenever in Las Vegas!

The food was amazing. You have to try the sea bass! Our waiter did a great job. He was very personable and was there every time we needed him. The restaurant is so interesting. We found are ourself just looking around in amazement.

You can't go wrong for the food, pricey but delicious. I was disappointed in the service, quite slow and inattentive (unless you were 20 or appeared famous). When we asked for the stamp for the VIP entrance to the nightclub, we were told to wait for the stamper which was a good ten minutes or more after paying our bill... More

Tao is really quite something - given how lavish it his, and how large the food could easily have been an afterthought however it really is top notch. Was there on business in a large party and had the tasting menu - everything on it was stunning. Pan-Asian dishes with a twist - not one for the purist all the... More

Actually visited in 2012 and was reminded to add my review. The food was so memorable my sister and still talk about our time there. Will definitely return. Delicious, with excellent service and ambiance.

The Tao is very popular and so also gets very noise with its single heavy beat running through the speakers. However, the food was good and reasonably priced.

Most delicious sushi I have ever had! I had gone for my birthday and the desert they brought out was amazing and delicious. The waiter was friendly, funny and made me want to come back. The restaurant is beautiful and one of my favorite sushi's was the Kobe Beef. You MUST visit this restaurant!

The sushi was divine! Service was prompt and plentiful, so were our entrees. Highly recommend visiting. Too bad we didn't make the nightclub, hear its just as terrific.
