Have eaten here many times, and generally it's a hit or miss for us. We have always felt the pricing was about $5 dollars more than we wanted to pay. Most of the time the chicken wings are very dry and overcooked as are many of the dishes. They simply sit out too long, and the buffet is usually understaffed.... More

We left Las Vegas southpoint and headed home. We missed the breakfast buffet at S.P. and stopped here. Yikes, not good. Poor selection, no flavor. Chicken overcooked, salad was drenched and atmosphere outdated.

It was old left overs. I felt bad for the old man that was serving. He was so tired and looked as if he needed to retire. It made me sad. The food was gross but I only paid 6.99.

My wife and I were on our way home from Las Vegas and decided to give the Gold Strike a try for lunch since we always see a lot of truckers stopping there. The price is very good however, the quality of the food is hit and miss. The salad bar was pretty good and the ice cream machine was... More

I tried this buffet as a test because I'm staying in Primm and the buffet at the Primm Valley Resort is below average. Jean is only 11 miles north of Primm, so it wasn't much of a trip. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was relatively fresh and not dried out (like at PVR). I tried a couple of... More

Stopped in here for dinner while traveling not expecting too much at 10.95 a person. I was pleasantly surprised the food looked fresh, was hot, the prime rib was pretty tasty, the desserts hit the spot. The waitress who handles your drinks never let a cup go empty (my pet peeve). We didn't notice the smoke on this particular day... More

My family saw the sign from thw freeway for a $10.95 Prime Rib Buffet and we were excited to try it out since our hotels buffet was $ 17.20 per person and didnt offer prime rib. Great food, buffet style atmosphere with salad bar, various meats and veggies. Ice cream, pies, cakes and cobblers. We had a lady wait on... More

I mean what can one say about "buffets"? The food wasn't yuck, but it wasn't WOW either. Im nor really "into" buffets. But this isn't one i'd "refuse" to participate in.
