Authentic and great Mexican food

Whenever we visit Jackpot we make it a point to eat at the Ragtime café. We have been enjoying the food here for over 10 years, and highly recommend!! We especially adore the "Mexican Tacos" - prime rib sliced and served in tacos with traditional beans and rice. The owner/operator is a great guy... read more

Place was noisey. A lot of the staff does not speak english. We went on Wednesday night which is when they have a ribeye steak dinner for about $10. This was one of the saddest steaks I have ever seen. It was lucky if it was 6 oz., about 1/4 inch thick, dry and way over cooked served with frozen... More

Won't eat here again. We got the impression that we was bothering the waiter by being there. Luke warm water for tea (cost way too much) had to ask for refill. Did not check on us. Can't see why any breakfast should cost that much.

This was one of the best ribeye steaks I have ever had! The service was great, food came quick and it tasted great! If you are heading through town, don't stop at the 'big casino'. Stop by the Rag Time Cafe and try the steak.

I am trying to be fair and not go one sided with this. We were in Jackpot for a few days and went to just about everywhere. This place had very friendly staff and was clean , however it was small and dark. We had breakfast and while filling it was not the tastiest we have had so we never... More

I was afraid to go in because of some reviews but I found it a pleasant place. Of course I was the only one there. I asked if he could make me a steak sandwich and he said no. OK then how about the apple pie---------no.Any cottage cheese ? No . Salad ? I pointed to it on the menu... More

Fast food level. Nothing special however clean. Inside the casino so it is noisy if that bothers you. You can take a pizza to the slot machines if you like.

Fresh, perfectly cooked and ample... Service was good, a small room, close to lobby. It's inexpensive and all ingredients obviously prepared well.
