The service is great, the owners - amazing!, and the food is plentiful. But the call here is the experience... it's about the camaraderie, it's quaint, a great ice breaker when you don't know your guests very well. A super fun experience.

Was lots of fun for our family - 2 girls 6 & 8. Fondue was great after day of skiing. Walked over from the Hyatt. People really friendly and helpful. Got cheese fondue and the meat fondue and chocolate. Was lots of food! Soup good also!

We had been to this restaurant 25 years ago - before kids- and it was still open 25 years later this time with our adult children. We enjoyed the traditional cheese fondue as a starter which was perfectly cheesy and tasty just like in switzerland. Most of us then ordered the sirloin and shrimp main course which was accompanied by... More

This is a very small restaurant but don't let that fool you. Make reservations or you won't get in. The service is outstanding. Get the meatballs!

We had Christmas Eve dinner here, because not many other places in the area were open or had reservations available. La Fondue had 1 open reservation, and we took that instead of cooking at home. The food was excellently described, prepped, and delivered to us as needed. Not too slow or too fast. The waitstaff was informative, helpful, and had... More

We had the fall special dinner. $55 for 2 with a full dinner. The entire meal was fun and the selections were great. Great Service. Good instructions how to cook as well as how to eat without burning yourself. We actually had 3 people and it was enough for all of us. We added the stuffed mushrooms. A real treat.... More

We were looking for a good place to have some food before we went to the Tahoe Shakespeare festival. We cam across la fondue by chance and it was the perfect dinner. We sat at the outdoor patio which was decorated with soft lighting. Place was both quaint and elegant. We ordered the fondue special for two ( it includes... More

We ate here on our recent vacation to Lake Tahoe. The restaurant is small and cozy. The waitress was very friendly and explained the process for fondue-ing our supper. We had fun cooking the various meats and vegetables. They have a dinner for two which included salad, cheese fondue, and oil fondue for the meats and veggies . I recommend... More

Great service from waitress. Quaint quiet restaurant right across from the hyatt regency. Cheese fondue just like in Switzerland and the fondues with shrimp delightful . Great prices and good size portions. The chocolate fondue is to die for but remove the marshmallows and put more fruit .

We had the "Night Out" to try all the styles of fondue, my favorite was the cheese but all yummy. Bacon wrapped dates as one of the items to cook were a surprise, but quite delicious! I wish they offered a seasoned boullion option instead of only hot oil, to be a bit healthier, because with cheese and chocolate, it... More
