Parking is not stellar but once you sit and review the menu all will be forgotten. The menu has a good varied with favorites such as the Chix Fried Chix. Always fresh and tasty. Value is high. Enjoy

Austin's is a wonderful family-run restaurant. As a local, I go to Austin's fairly regularly, and ALWAYS order the classic meatloaf. I would never ever order meatloaf anywhere else. All meals are served with cornbread - fabulous! The salads are outstanding, the pasta very good, the fish specials also very good. They have a good wine selection, and are known for... More

This is an all purpose coffee shop with a large menu and good food. Sandwiches ,burgers and salads are all generously portioned. Service is friendly and efficient. There is also an extensive dessert menu with freshly baked pies. There is ample parking behind the restaurant if front lot is full.

We're waiting on the Chef to show up for some unknown reason. Wife had a good beet salad but later had some stomach problems. I had the ribeye and it was okay but there was no juices whatsoever from the steak. Oh and I ordered the chili before the meal but they brought out my wife's soup while I waited... More

something for everyone here. Their salads are awesome - I order with half the lettuce and still have too much - big portions. If my waistline could handle it, their Chicken Fried Chicken (or beef), meatloaf are off the charts. Homemade soups daily. Good Chili, burgers, trout. I like the Apple Nut Chicken sandwich, the Mountain Melt Burger (BBQ, bacon,... More

They have THE BEST grilled chicken sandwich served with buttermilk fries and jalapeno dipping sauce; then top it off with fresh-baked oolaberry pie and vanilla bean ice cream! Yum!!

We eat here about 8-10 times per year. It is run by a local family and is always on our short list of good local spots. Never a bad meal.

Looked forward to eating there after reading some reviews but left disappointed. First off the side dinner salad looked like the lettuce came straight out of the bag and the slice of tomato on top was not freshly sliced either. It looked like it had been sliced and refrigerated. Two of us ordered hamburgers which were good. The other two... More

Our family decided to try Austin's during a recent trip to Lake Tahoe. The food was plentiful and delicious, and very reasonably priced (most entrees were around $15). I had the chicken fried chicken, and ordered a side of grilled mushrooms, which were the best I've ever had. My husband had the Cobb salad, which was so huge he could... More

Great selection at a reasonable price. Plus, it's owned and operated by a local family who has been in the business for generations. Austin's is a great place for families and couples. It's cozy log cabin atmosphere is worth a visit. Plus, I really like their cornbread.
