Great French food in Nevada

Let Bistro has been worth a visit on each of several trips to Lake Tahoe. The five course prix fixe is a good value, and the soups, appetizers and desserts are excellent. Service is prompt, interior could use a little sprucing up.

We went here from recommendations and were so pleased we did. The tasting menu is incredible, the wines were fantastic and from start to finish we had a lovely evening. We are lucky enough to have eaten in lots of top well known restaurants, this place beat them all, the creativity, freshness of ingredients and flavours were all impressive. We... More

The wine list is great, but pricy. The food is excellent. The service, alas, is sometimes a bit snooty. Hence my 4 star rating..

Le Bistro is tucked away behind a row of shops and restaurants - the restaurant offers an intimate dining experience. There is a 5 course prix fixe meal with optional wine pairing. Each of our courses was exquisitely prepared and the portions appropriately sized to allow one to eat everything and not be uncomfortably stuffed. We have eaten there many... More

This is a small French restaurant located in a strip mall across the street from the Hyatt Regency, Incline Village. Seats about 50 people and sits in the back of the same building of Austin’s steak house. It is a bit difficult to find but well worth the trouble. Park on Country Club Drive and walk in. The menu consists... More

Very good French cuisine. This is the real deal for those who appreciate great french food! Plan on a two hour+ meal. It's that good. We live nearby and go there at least twice per year. Great ambiance too and near the Lake (Tahoe).

Visiting Lake Tahoe is a treat in itself. We stayed at the Hyatt on the North Shore and were introduced to Le Bistro by a family member. It is very tucked away so you have to know where to find it but it is a gem of a place with Jean Pierre from Burgundy as the chef. He suggests indulging... More

My husband and I have been vacationing in Lake Tahoe for years. We pretty much know every good restaurant the Lake has to offer. While there are several really good restaurants, Le Bistro stands at the top. Chef Jean-Pierre Doignon was trained in Burgundy, France, at "Lameloise". He brings his many years of experience to the Lake, in what can... More

Wonderful atmosphere and much like a country French restaurant, 5 course meal, fixed price, very nice and as typical of French cuisine, filling but not overfilling. And then there were BEARS. We looked up and there were three bears at the door. The waiter went to chase them away and one of them charged him. All of us were stunned... More
