DISCLAIMER: I would really give Le Bistro 4.5 stars but, seeing as I can't do that, I dropped it down to 4 because of service. The food was fantastic, don't get me wrong, but with the price I paid here ($170 with tip), I expected fabulous service throughout the meal, which I did not get. I made reservations for 6:30... More

This is a place that you would not think could last in this area, which you might assume would only have seasonal guests. However, it has been here for 23 years and serving classic French fare that is best sampled as the 5 course prix-fix. We ended up having our appetizers first to allow for my soup to be individually... More

We decided to eat at Le Bistro because of it's excellent reviews. We cancelled our other dinner reservation and were able to get an early dinner reservation at Le Bistro. It's a quaint restaurant located across the street from the Hyatt Regency. The restaurant filled up quickly and was full within an hour of opening. Lots of locals eat here... More

We loved this very charming( reminiscent of Paris), small French Bistro in Incline Village. All of the courses were wonderful but I particularly enjoyed the , Feuillet of Mushrooms with Porcini Oil. The flavors were a perfect savory delight that paired perfectly with a Beaujolais from Burgundy. The Lamb Loin Provencale , with a Rioja from Spain was also perfect.... More

Le Bistro is without question one of the best restaurants in the Incline Village area, although being best in a sea of mediocrity isn't saying a lot. It's a relatively small room (15 tables or so) in the back of a nondescript shopping-office complex, somewhat old-fashioned and relatively formal in its decor. We were there on a quiet Tuesday night... More

My wife and I enjoyed the Le Bistro 5 course prix fixe dinner tonight. I had the lamb she asked for a dinner portion of the crab and lobster appetizer. We were both highly pleased. Each course was a little gem, starting with soup and through to the dessert. We found the dishes complex but delicious and showing great imagination.... More

Enjoyed LeBistro's five-course dining, with a number of interesting choices for each course. Quiet place early, but by 9:00 on a Thursday most tables were full. Especially liked venison entree. Tuna appetizer was disappointing since accompaniments overwhelmed tuna flavor. But all other choices by two of us were enjoyable. Go here to dine at an appropriately slow pace. Expect to... More

Chef Jean Claude is a master of classic French cooking. His standards are superb and his presentations excellent. At $55 for a five course tasting menu, this is one of the great values in fine dining on Lake Tahoe's North Shore, The wine list is extensive and well thought out. The service is competent. On the current menu, we particularly... More

Le Bistro is our standard "special occasion" restaurant in Incline Village. The food is exquisite - from the delectable amuse bouche (Gorgonzola gouchere and others) through the rest of the 5 course menu. Service is friendly and solid - we like to sit at the upstairs tables near the bar, a little out of the main room, and quiet. Dinner... More
