After a day of being a snow bunny this was a nice escape. Good food, atmosphere and the wallpaper is cool. Make a reservation to ensure your spot. Many little portions fill you up. Its off the beaten path and a little hard to find, but once you're there its a wonderful experience. Enjoy.

Le Bistro features a lavish prix fixe menu of carefully prepared delights. The hostess welcomed us warmly, our server David combined charm and efficiency, and the chef sent out five plus courses of French-Californian fare. The tables and banquettes are well-spaced and comfortable, the background music light jazz, and the lighting indirect but not dim. The menu changes nightly, so... More

This is my favorite restaurant in Incline. It compares favorably with the best restaurants in my experience in New York City, or San Francisco. Five course meal, beautifully presented. Small courses so you leave fully satisfied with an extraordinary dining experience. I take all my clients who purchase the most expensive homes to this restaurant to celebrate their escrows closing.... More

A bit hard to find but wonderful food and excellent service. Two or three seatings per night with limited seating on busy nights, so be sure to call a couple days in advance for reservations. It is a fixed price for a five course meal, with several wonderful choices for each course. Ask your waiter (probably David) for a wine... More

The experience of eating here is so much fun. The food is several course and just the right amount of food for each course.... PLUS the food is fantastic! We've even held our rehearsal dinner here. The staff is very kind and tries very hard to make everyone feel welcome. We will be back as soon as we can!

Interesting selection of 5 course prix-fixe meal. Enjoyed the pumpkin potato soup, tuna napoleon with waffle potatoes, lobster/crab appetizer, salad, and lamb. Halibut was ok; "le grand dessert" was fair. What was NOT enjoyable and tarnished the experience was a male waiter who was very patronizing. When we'd ask a question about the menu, he'd answer instead with a question.... More

DISCLAIMER: I would really give Le Bistro 4.5 stars but, seeing as I can't do that, I dropped it down to 4 because of service. The food was fantastic, don't get me wrong, but with the price I paid here ($170 with tip), I expected fabulous service throughout the meal, which I did not get. I made reservations for 6:30... This is a place that you would not think could last in this area, which you might assume would only have seasonal guests. However, it has been here for 23 years and serving classic French fare that is best sampled as the 5 course prix-fix. We ended up having our appetizers first to allow for my soup to be individually... More

We decided to eat at Le Bistro because of it's excellent reviews. We cancelled our other dinner reservation and were able to get an early dinner reservation at Le Bistro. It's a quaint restaurant located across the street from the Hyatt Regency. The restaurant filled up quickly and was full within an hour of opening. Lots of locals eat here... More
