Special place to dine

What an experience and what a view! We were looking for a place to kind of have a fine dining meal on our Honeymoon and this foot the bill! We actually stayed at the Hyatt so it was easy access across the road and what an amazing view right on Lake Tahoe! The view alone was worth it and then... read more

Ate here, first night in Lake Tahoe, met my niece and her new husband from California, we all enjoyed the food, the lamb chops were excellent as were the martinis. All the sides we ordered were also great compliments to the food. What a great night of family time and food and wine.

We ate on the patio, the wait staff is super friendly! I had the Mesquite Grilled Chicken Breast salad, and Hubby and son had the Durham Ranch American Bison Burgers. Everything was delicious and elegantly presented (yes even for a burger!) The chef is amazing! We eat here every time we visit Lake Tahoe, (plan and save for it lol!... More

The scallop salad was delicious and the tomato soup was the best we have had. Great lunch with a view! We had a hard time finding it...there is a sign from the main road. Turn in and go all the way to the end of the parking lot. It's the building at the turn around. If there was a sign... More

Lunch time is the best value, dinner prices will make you choke, service-food-waiters vary frequently-so sometimes food isn't great and wait service is lousy. A must see atmosphere, full bar, outside seating around the fire pit, locals have discount.

Gone are the days of Hugo's...a tourist AND more importantly a locals favorite. Change is not always good. Hang onto your wallets and anticipate poor service, food quality etc at Lone Eagle.

This is a very nice restaurant with absolutely everything being perfect. The restaurant is upscale with a very nice menu. They have a separate Vegetarian menu if you wish to sample vegetarian fare. They also made special shrimp dishes off the menu for my dad as he wanted to eat only shrimp. It was delicious. The wait staff are extremely... More

The restaurant is beautiful and the views are amazing. Try the risotto and cauliflower soup, pass on the tofu. Don't be put off by the snooty valet, hostess and water man; the actual servers are very nice and knowledgable. However, our meal took 3 hours! There were only four people in our party, we ordered an appetizer and entree each... More

Make a reservation! This is a busy place. The outdoor patio area around the firepits is my favorite place to park with a glass of wine. The beach is also terrific with the Adirondack chairs. Terrific menu and wonderful drinks of the day.
