Mostly a fun, compact place to visit

Classy place, small, cozy, off the beaten track. Unusual items for appetizers - fried spinach knocked our socks off! Loved this place except the service was very, very slow after we received our apps. We almost digested our stomachs waiting for the main course to arrive. Maybe a short staffed... read more

We really enjoyed the food. Great pasta. Great chicken. Great steak. Great salads. BUT it took forever. And our waiter was nowhere to be found to reorder drinks. We asked for more bread. None came. Never once a note that out food would be out soon or an apology. Nothing. So again, if you have time, the food is good... More

The decor is wonderful. The service was on point. The food was excellent. My husband got the pasta and I got the chicken. We also got the cheese plate with "drunken goat" cheese. It came with bread, crackers, grapes, nuts and jam. So good!

We had heard of Lake Las Vegas, and stumbled upon it while driving around Lake Mead. Glad we stopped. The "village" was a little hard to find, and many shops were empty, then we found this place as we walked down by the water. The lunch menu was just right with some light dishes (cheese plate was excellent) and several... More

The "lake" that is beside the restaurant is actually part of the Las Vegas sewage treatment system (seriously!) so in warm weather has a sewage/cesspool smell. Doesn't make for a pleasant dining experience. On top of that, the management was very rude and superior-acting, like they are doing you a great favor by allowing you to be there, although the... We have ate here in the past but since we already had lunch we decided to order a glass of wine and enjoy the view of the lake on the patio. The restaurant has a large selection of wines to choose from and a chance to try something different. The inside is nicely decorated and the tables have white table... More

Good food, fine wine. Enjoyable dinner, in a spot that many might pass by. Take the time to find it, and you'll enjoy.

We recently spent a few days in Lake Las Vegas and rather than going to the LV strip and face all the crazies there, we opted for a quieter dining experience. This restaurant is set in the Montelago Village at Lake Las Vegas. It's a really nice setting, right on the lake. We opted for outdoor dining as the weather... More

We dined here on March 28th and had a pretty poor experience. First of all, when we walked in there was an overwhelming sewage smell mixed with a lemon disinfectant smell. The smell was less noticeable on the patio. Our table on the patio was right outside the kitchen so we could see everything going on- some of which was... More

The atmosphere is nice and there is outside seating on Lake Las Vegas. The food is good but a little pricey. However, the wine and cheese tasting was a joke. They had six different wines and one small tray of cheese. The cheese tray was gone in about 1 minute and that was it. They gave us about a half... More
