Went because people were talking about it. Had a nice sandwich with good bread, but not crazy about the selections.
So, this bakery was written up in a local magazine about cronuts. As it is close to where we live, we decided to go this morning. For a Tuesday morning at 10:00am it was surprisingly busy. Sadly, they only had vanilla custard filled cronuts. My husband had one and said, while it was good, it wasn't great and would have... More
While they have not been open that long they have quite a following. Everyday specials and fresh ingredients and some over the top combinations. Good bakery items and fresh breads with a nice selection of "cronuts". Prices are some what on the high side but quality tends to cost a little more. If you are in the area it is... More
Read the reviews drove across town to check it out. Ordered the Waffle Sandwich and also the Sourdough Waffles. Inside seating was limited so decided it was good to sit outside. waffles were cold and the butter was rock solid cold. We have made 3 trips to Las Vegas since Bread and Butter opened and this was our 4th visit. We each decided on a cheese Danish. The pastry was fluffy and the filling oozing with deliciousness. We talked for several minutes with owner/baker Chris Herrin’s cousin who seemed to be managing the place in Chris’ absence.

On return the place was very busy so we opted to take out food we placed our order and proceeded to wait and wait and wait. Finally I went to the cashier who checked with the "chef" and said... More
It's great to have a neighborhood bakery/restaurant in Vegas! It reminded me of the bagel shops in New York and the bagels were outstanding! I couldn't have found a better breakfast place! Good luck Chris on all your endeavors! Can't wait to go to the dinner place in August!
My husband and I found this little restaurant in a strip mall near our new home. Ordered a Corned Beef and Cabbage sandwich (fresh multi-grain/rye roll filled with hot corned beef, Swiss cheese, cole slaw and mustard; a Smoked Salmon sandwich (Challah roll filled with dill cream cheese, lots of smoked salmon, capers and sliced tomato accompanied by a substantial... I previously visited this bakery/restaurant on an earlier trip this year for a Danish, but this was our first visit for dining in. We each decided on muffins; orange/cranberry for my wife and blueberry for me. Each was light and delicious. As I was preparing to clear off our dishes, owner/baker Chris Herrin quickly came to the table to take... More
