Best food in Henderson, NV

The seafood is fresh and excellent. In 8 weeks stay (Mon-Thur) I ate here at least twice a week. Jumbo shrimp salad was to die for! I was hesitant that they did not have my favorite, honey mustard, and when they said they usually serve it with thousand island, I was hesitant, but it really was very... read more

Sriracha in the ahi poke? Didn't enjoy burning my mouth on sriracha that obliterated the taste of the fish, and there's nothing like the sweet freshness of sashimi-grade ahi in your mouth. So, if you know what poke is supposed to taste like, don't order King's. I opted for Alaskan Halibut at $29.95 advertised as "macadamia nut encrusted." The fish... More

We ate sushi and oysters on the patio with a few beers. High quality ingredients, very good service and a nice way to spend the afternoon!

Was very excited to try King's and I can say that I was Not impressed with their food. Hopefully they have got a new chef or menu by now, but because it was not good to begin with I will never go back. And that is sad, cause I live right down the street and visit GVR all the time.... More

There is a need for fish places in this area but this is the pitts. Slow service, very loud. All fried items cooked in same oil. I specifically asked if the shrimp was cooked in the same oil as the coconut shrimp and was told no. I hate coconut, the smell the look everything about it and my food comes... More

Manager (Craig) really blew it. Busy night & a substandard drink was delivered. I tried to quietly drink it but it was like sugar water -something was missing for sure. I very nicely told my server that something went wrong with my drink and that I thought something was missing. The manager came over and his response was "I'd get... More

Definitely try the walnut and blue cheese salad - delicious! On this visit I tried the pasta special which arrived with too many pepper flakes (and I did not remember the menu stating pepper flakes). I do like the changing menu and sushi options.

We enjoyed their crab cake appetizer and then the King crab legs for the entree. Everything was absolutely delicious! There were 7 adults in our party and 5 of the 7 ordered the King Crab legs. Every bite was eaten!

Are there provisions for a 6 star rating? The food was excellent! You usually hear that from one or two people at the table, but our group of five all raved about their meal. Absolutely wonderful. And the service was the finest. It was a pleasure to see the entire wait-staff helping each other out, and it made a most... More

The swordfish was expertly grilled blackened and seasoned. The crusted Halibut was superb. Side dishes were fair not on same level as the fish. Blue cheese dressing was weak. Head lettuce salad was huge but too big with major let down on the blue cheese dressing. Oyster sampler was quite good with perfect accompaniments. So far the best meal we... More
