The atmosphere and service are impeccable. The food, however is lacking. One time I got fish that was no good. Every time the food has been greasy.

We love Chinese food and were so excited when Louie's first opened. At first the food was good, place friendly and then it went down hill. The owner started cutting things to make it go further and it showed. The food was not good anymore, the place felt sad. I just ate there again after months of not going and... More

In ten years we've eaten there 3 times. Their Honey walnut shrimp is very good. Overall fantastic Chinese is hands down China Chef in the middle of town.

Abundant servings and as tasty as any in the SF Bay area. We had the hot and sour soup, very spicy, house special chow mein and egg foo yung. The Egg foo yung was very different from any I have ever eaten and soooo good. Lots of veggies and a very delicate sauce. Give them a try you won't be... More

We ordered food to go & when we opened them, the Mongolian beef was already spoiled and the egg flower soup was already sour tasting, like it was several days old. I called the restaurant to let them know. The waitress who assisted me when I ordered the food didn't know what to do so she gave the phone to... More

About 6 visits as of this review. Staff is very friendly, food is good, service is average, they do have a small bar and a TV. I had to ask for them to turn on the bar TV each time I went there. I'll be returning to this one.

My husband and I stopped for dinner while passing through. The restaurant ambience is upscale compared to most Chinese Restaurants. The food, however, was disappointing. My husband ordered Shrimp Fried Rice. It had only a little egg and no veggies were visible. It did have plenty of shrimp but the dish was very dry. I ordered Cashew Chicken. Anytime I've... More

I have been here a few times and always thought the food was good, and the portions were big for the price. The last time there I ate the Kung Po Chicken, a dish I often order at Chinese places. At Louie's the Kung Po was much better than most that I have eaten. It has good flavor, and just... More
