So creamy and delicious!! Ice cream is home made and such a treat anytime of the year. Our grand kids love going there when they come to visit. We are so glad to have this ice cream place to go to.

With out a doubt the best ice cream in northern Nevada! Super service and a tasty treat make for a fun stop anytime. Located right of I-80 at exit # 48 it's a quick stop for those needing a break from driving.

We stopped here on our way from Fallon to Reno. The ice cream is the best we have had since moving out west. we missed the homemade ice cream we used to able to get in CT when we lived there. The portions are huge. It is worth the extra expense and calories for the whipped cream! The strawberry ice... More

Steve's Homemade Ice Cream is simply fantastic. I've talked with Steve himself many times, as well as current and previous employees. All ice creams are made onsite, right in the back! The assortment of products, from milkshakes, pies, cones, sundaes, splits, floats and more, are all made right there in front of you, just the way you want it. Staff... More

Located off exit 48 in Fernley, in a shopping center, this place is at the top of my list of ice cream/gelato places in the country (I consider myself an ice cream connoisseur). It is creamy and flavorful. Be warned-- the single scoops are really like doubles in most other places; it's a lot of rich ice cream. I couldn't... More

We got into Fernley a little late on our way back from a road trip to San Jose and ice cream sounded like a good idea, so we checked out this place. It's tucked into a shopping with a couple of other restaurants and a grocery store. The ice cream was great, with a pretty decent selection of ice cream... More

Its great, stop in for Ice Cream and get the local gossip he is plugged into this town. He keeps the popular flavors but there is always something new and is open to suggestions and its all made there in the shop.

The only thing that may be as delectable as the homemade ice cream here is the New York accent of owner Steve Cordes as he greets you and fills your order. Not only did the scrumptious, huge scoops of ice cream (a single here is the size of a double in most places) tickle our tastebuds, listening to Steve was... More

Always gotta love home made ice cream. It just always tastes so much better. I was just there a couple days ago for my pineapple milkshake. Yummy

The title says it all. This is what ice cream is supposed to taste like. If you'd like something a little lighter, the ices that Steve makes are just as outrageously good. He typically keeps a half dozen standards (the Blue Raspberry is a personal favorite) and rotates in another 6 every couple weeks (tangerine finished it's debut last week;... More
