We walked from our motel, and were seated right away. We both ordered one of our favorites, chicken enchiladas suizas, and our server was happy to substitute whole beans for refried beans. Our entrees were pretty good, maybe a bit lacking in the usual tangy suiza (green) sauce, but the flavor was good.

We eat here often because of the well prepared food, service and atmosphere. I love the enchiladas, usually get the ground beef and cheese. The portions are nice and filling with even extra to take home for lunch. I had my first chalupa and the crunchy shell with plenty of filling and lettuce was a nice dinner. We eat late... More

The decor is a bit on the downtrodden side but the food was really good. Be sure to have the guacamole - homemade and superb! For a family of five we all found something we enjoyed and for us that is saying a lot. I would recommend stopping here for anyone.

The service was extremely poor .. when we did get our customary chips and salsa they also served a very tasty coleslaw with jalapenos. And that was about it .. the food was bland and tasted like Old El Paso ... we were not very happy

Food was good, but almost had too much cheese that had coagulated under the heat lamps. Friendly staff

their pulpo al mojo de ajo is one of the most superb dishes i have ever eaten, super-tender octopus in a butter garlic sauce that is unbelievably delicious. have eaten there once a year for a decade. the steaks are bad. the traditional Mexican combinations are strictly average. but the octopus is to die for.

Hungry for steak at a Mexican Restaurant, no problem. We order the 16 oz, it was great, tender and perfectly done. The chips came with a cabbage salsa, I liked it and told them so they sent it home with me. Great salad and okay service. I would recommend this restaurant if you are in Ely, or even if you... More

I highly recommend this restaurant. Okay, why? We are on a long road trip and we like Mexican food. So, if you are staying at Ramada, it is right next door! Service? What do you expect in Ely? Okay, but the food was fine. A nice surprise was the chips and salsa. The salsa wasn't all that great, but they... More

My carne asada was so tough I could not cut it or chew it, so had to throw it away. Several things were left out of our order so we had to return to get them. Will not go back.

La Fiesta serves pretty decent Mexican fare... but it's their cabbage salsa that they are best known for! No stop in Ely is complete without dinner (and salsa!) at La Fiesta.
