Good Food

The food here is pretty good. You can get reasonably priced Mexican fair. The queso dip is so good! Margaritas are pretty decent, but comparable to others around town. Wait staff is attentive and makes sure you have what you

We have frequented this restaurant for years. Last year, we ate there a half-dozen or more times and each time, we came home "not feeling right". Several months would go by, we'd go back, give 'em another try - and again, one of us would be ill for a day or two. Last night, my husband shared a plate with... More

Went on valentines day for their steak and lobster special. I have never had lobster that could bounce but I did last night. The lobster was so over cooked that my wife didn't even touch it. The steak which I ordered medium rare was well done. The soup it came with was cold. It was so bad we refused the... More

This is a great place for lunch, dinner, with family, friends or business. The staff was great and the food was good. I especially loved their salsa and will go there again on my next trip to Elko.

Right off the beef in the fajitas was very tough. Service was sort of grumpy. The portions were fairly generous. Not the kind of place we would go back to.

We were seated quickly and the waitress came by a few minutes later to get our drink orders. The grilled chicken in their chilcken enchilada suiza was a bit on the salty side but tasty. The beans and rice...looked like they put canned green beans in their rice...didn't seem to have much flavor. The pork carnitas were tasty. They do... More

My family had a layover in Elko, NV this evening and we were searching for food. We came across Dos Amigos. The menu looked good and Tripadvisor rated it pretty high. We called in an order for pickup, little trouble ordering over the phone, probably because we were trying to make some changes to their menu items. Order was ready... More

Big portions, we had lunch and none of us could eat it all. Very good white queso dip with just the right amount of heat. The food wasn't bad, just wasn't much different from a hundred other Mexican places. Very prompt and attentive service.

The staff is always so friendly and prompt. I had the steak burrito smothered in their white queso sauce. To die for. I would put that queso on anything! Must-go in Elko.
