This is an award winning chef that has opened a Chinese food restaurant in cowboy country ... but the food is Excellent. We found this restaurant 2 blocks from our hotel and got there late at night. We ordered, wondering how this will compare with the restaurants we frequent in the San Francisco East Bay. Wonder no more. The food... More

This is the best restaurant for Chinese Food in Elko, NV. Only the Great Wall of China in Seattle, WA can beat this!

I've changed my mind. Went with some friends and was very wary about eating anything Chinese. I don't remember the names of any of the food we ate but it was delicious. We had an assortment of about 8-10 different dishes served family style for our group of 12. I think we ordered servings for 8 however and there were... More

Hadn't realised how small Elko was when booking and the dining options are pretty limited. A couple of places we parked outside of screamed "Don't eat here" so we ended up at Chef Chengs. We stupidly ordered Egg Flower Soup and Hot and Sour Soup to start with followed by Fried Wantons and Fried Calamari and then Special Fried Rice,... More

Edible dessert sculpture! Staff friendly to my kids! Clean. Each dish has unique flavor instead of just chinese food flavor... The best BROCCOLI BEEF I've ever eaten (that is a lot of broccoli beef over 35 years!) Older building but they've made the ambiance inside authentic and comfortable! Each time we go they consistently please us!

The lunch menu has a list of items you can mix and match any three, for $7.99. Can't beat that for one of the top 100 Chinese restaurants in the country.

The beef from the pu-pu platter was so dry that it was inedible. Greasy, salty, and overpriced. $40 for very little food.

I've had a lot of bad Chinese food but these guys brought it to a new level. At least the service was poor. I think the wait staff wanted out of there as much as we did.

We recently moved here and was hoping to have some good chinese food for dinner. We ordered a few things off the menu and took it home to eat. I wish we had stayed so I could have told them how horrible their food was. The chicken made us sick and nothing was worth ever going back for again. The... More
