Who would have thought you could find great sushi in the middle of NV. Torre, our sushi chef, was so nice, knowledgeable and knew exactly what we wanted. The spicy scallop handroll he made was just the right amount of heat and really fresh. The Unagi long roll was so tasty. You won't be disappointed.

A wonderful establishment with a huge variety of excellent sushi and wonderful Italian dishes. (Not the usual combination, I know). It was soooo good we ate twice during one long weekend. The service was professional and friendly and they all hustled to serve the crowds. I recommend the bento box. gnocchi and vodka pappardelli.I ate breakfast here last year and... More

We had 3 meals at the Flying Fish this week. Breakfast had great coffee, but was a total mess. I ordered the veggie Benedict which is poached eggs on a corn cake, portabella and spinach. It came and was a sprinkle of spinach with poached eggs - no corn cake or portabella making it a significantly smaller dish. When I... More

Five us had dinner at The Flying Fish. It was a busy night, but we had reservations, so we weren't concerned. It took a while to get seated, but then we promptly got our drinks. And then we waited and waited. Finally the wait person took our order. Good. But then nothing happened for a long, long time. Our soup/salads... More

Went there first time we were seated right away up close to bar. Then we sat and sat and sat. Observed lots of waiters bsing and talking to customers without even looking our way. Watched the bartender drink a beer behind the bar. After at least 25 minutes a waiter asked if he should check on our order. I said... More

Not much food for the cost and the bar sits in an odd place. Bar could be set in a better area like in the back area that is kind of enclosed. Could have better lighting for a better atmosphere

The sushi menu is extremely over priced. In most cities you can have all you can eat sushi for the price they charge for one of their most expensive hand rolls. That being said the sushi is excellent. The quality and presentation are top notch. Service is dependent on the luck of the draw. If you are fortunate to get... More

Had a wonderful meal here. Met with friends and they suggested this gem. I love sushi, but, decided I didn't want it this particular day. I settled for a salad instead and, simply put, it was scrumptious. Great service and very accommodating. I will be back Keep up the great work Flying Fish.

I do not like to dine alone, but needed to because I was on a business trip. I feel very fortunate to have found this establishment. I was seated at the sushi counter, where I engaged in an enjoyable conversation with the sushi chefs and some of the employees who were eating there while off duty. They all were proud... More
