Definitely worth the stop!

The hand made pasties here are worth the stop! I'm so glad they have a veggie option! Thank you, thank you! We stopped in for breakfast on the go, and also grabbed some mini pecan pies for the road. The pecan pie was so good, it almost brought tears to my eyes! The gentleman working there could not... read more

My wife and I were on our way to Virginia City, and stopped in Elko for gas. On our way out of town, we spotted this place, and I remember having seen it on Tripadvisor with many favorable reviews, so we stopped. The lady working there was very friendly, cheerful, and helpful. We purchased two meat pies, or pasties as... More

Meat pies are like hand held pot pies. Ordered apple pies and they were so good! Brownies with nuts are not to be missed-decadent. Carrot cake wasn't my favorite. Everyone is friendly.

This was a great stop. We got breakfast on our was out of town. The pasties were easy to eat in the car. I got the breakfast one with the hot sauce. It was excellent.

I stop off to have a much acclaimed pastis pastry. I got the breakfast one, full of egg, potato, and bacon. It was a hardy surprise and a unique food experience. Saw the sign, that proclaimed it to be the food of the local miners. I was glad I had stop to give it a try, and would suggest it... More

Travelling from Carson City, NV to Salt Lake City, lunchtime found us in Elko. Tried this place since it was rated #1 on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. Everything there is homemade except the bottled beverages. Never had been served pasties (pronounced pah-stees) before but they were great!! My Mom and I had Beef and Cabbage pasties; my husband... Having spent a fair amount of time in Michigan's Copper Country I consider myself a bit of a pasty connoisseur. My wife was taught by her Grandmother in the very traditional Cornish style. So, I was very happy to find a Pasty shop here in Elko. The crust was light and flaky and the filling was well seasoned. My one... More

Nothing beats a pasty! Or a pie! It's quick and easy food at a reasonable price. If you're passing through and are sick of all the fast food while traveling, try these! You'll get hooked - promise. Service was friendly and adequate. Interesting building. Clean.
