My husband and I were in Elko for 24 hours and ate here twice, the food was just that good. The menu was extensive, a little something for everyone. The chicken curry was surprisingly good, not something I would have expected at a pastie shop in Elko. The interior ingredients are top notch but the crust was my favorite part.... More

Chances are about 99% you would zip right by this hole in the wall without even a notice as you look for a gas station off I-80. If you are even a little bit hungry, it's worth a quick stop. There is no seating, it is very small, and the menu is pretty much limited to pasties and pies. That's... More

Thank you so much for the positive review! Although, I do want people to know you can come in and sit and eat. We have bar stools and a small table available. Our restaurant only seats about nine people. And although our menu is just pasties & pies we have a variety of flavors. We are also working on getting... More

Wonderful pasties with a good selection of types/flavors. Wonderful to grab a few to keep on hand in the car for the trip. Pies are delish!

In town for the Cowboy Poetry Gathering we ate here all 4 days, sometimes dinner, sometimes lunch. The perfect meal, not just for miners, but for people on the go. Hot and hardy pasties were ready when we walked in the door, no waiting in line for a table or to be waited on and a nice variety available. Our... More

I found this place by accident as I was traveling through. Pasties are soooo tasty that I bought a dozen to bring home. Yummy goodness in a pie crust. Plus you can eat it without silverware. Can't get much better than that. Perfect for snacks or lunch.

I had never tried a pasty before in my life. They have a great variety to choose from but my favorite was the beef and cabbage with sausage. YUM! I also love their blueberry pie. If you are traveling thru Elko it's worth it to stop in to try these little meat pies & fruit pies. You won't be disappointed.

My fiance and I were staying in Elko for business, and I am a big fan of pasties so we had to stop and try them out. The owner and staff are very nice, and give you half a pasty to sample (very generous). They sell their pasties fresh or frozen, with quite a few varieties. I had the beef... More

You can't get pasties, pronounced pass-tees, hardly anywhere anymore, and to find them in a smaller town in the high desert was an extreme pleasure! In the few days I was able to spend in Elko, I was able to try 3 different varieties and loved them all. If their homemade pies are anywhere close to as good as the... More
