Jekyll and Hyde experience

First business trip to Carson City, tried this restaurant as is was close to Hampton Inn, 10% when you show your room key, and recommended by the Hampton staff. First night was very good, attentive service and was prepared to give it 5 stars. My business partner asked for a special salad and... read more

Not too long ago, we enjoyed at couple of cocktails in the bar with Kenny, wonderful bar tender!!!! Fun and sure knows how to make a cocktail like we like...However the dinner prices were realllly high!!! I was surprised and also a bit disappointed with the food for the price. Hope fully they will lower their prices. Great service however.

Had New Years dinner there with family. Ordered the ribs and swordfish specials for that night along with the sea bass from the regular menu. The ribs were meaty but were not done as well as many other places in Carson City. The shrimp on top of the swordfish were very good but the swordfish itself was just ok. The... More

This is a cool building with great atmosphere. At times they even offer live music in the bar/lounge area. My meal started off great with an excellent gin and tonic and a perfect Caesar salad. But....the service was slow and unfriendly and when my salmon arrived I was reminded of what airplane food generally tastes like. For the price, I... More

Had made the reservation one week in advance.......it was obvious they had no table for us. Seated us in a small room where we felt the cold outdoor temps every time someone entered or exited the restaurant. We were a party of four but the table was set for three, too close to the next table so we couldn't even... More

Great atmosphere as soon as you walk into the place. Service is outstanding and very insightful. The food is amazing. Pam our server was extremely talented. Biggest recommendation is to save room for dessert!

We ate in the bar. There was a live band playing some popular tunes from years gone by. They were pretty good. I had pasta and very large meatballs. My coworker at elk. He said it was the best elk he ever had. I think his plate was about $50. Mine about $26.

It is a bit like stepping back in time to the old school way of running a restaurant and planning a menu. I sat in the bar as I was by myself to eat, but the restaurant looked nice too - you can see the cooks cooking when you come in! Tiffany is the perfect host, very caring and attentive.... More

Had an absolutely fantastic lunch here. Gorgeous sour bread and real butter to wet the appetite, followed by amazing club sandwich for me and delicious meat loaf sandwich for the husband. Both came with your choice of bread, home made coleslaw and yummy crispy fries. There was so much we had to take some away with us. Staff genuine, friendly... More

We were there on 9-20-14 at about 7PM. We were seated promptly and then waited 15 minutes to get water and bread. The waitress said they had a large party of 20 in another room. After placing our order at 7:30 we received our salads promptly at 8:05! By that time our water glasses were empty, the bread was gone... More
