A Good Experince Worth Writing About

Sat down to a very fine and busy restaurant that was recommended by the owners of the near by Deer Run B&B. This place was hopping for a Wednesday. Live music was provided and the locals (age range 40’s to 60’s) appeared to have a great time. The menu has a large selection and made it hard to... read more

Thought we'd eaten in some of the best restaurants in the country...and abroad as well...couldn't be more impressed with Glen Eagles Restaurant right here near our backyard. Consistent, fresh...great wait staff...and most importantly the food is excellent!!

We ate at this restaurant after a long road trip and since it was located near the Hampton Inn where we were staying. The restaurant itself is very nice and has several different eating areas and a full bar. We were seated promptly in a nice room with a few tables. Waiter was promp but gave us enough time to... This restaurant has been here a long time. We had a nice meal. I had the soup of the day-homemade bean soup and a caesar salad-both were very good. My husband had the mahi mahi with mango salsa-also good.

We were allowed to fax over our order and we let them know when we would be there. Our table was all ready and our food was delivered just as we were all seated! Food was perfect, every special order was perfect. Water glasses were never empty and several in our party has so much food they took home some!... More

From reading prior reviews, I almost did not go to this restaurant, even though it is the closest "fine dining" restaurant to the Carson City Hampton Inn. I think it is getting a bum rap, as I had a fine meal. Is it too expensive? Yes, probably a bit. But if what you want is a nice, clean, quiet, fine-atmosphere... More

Food was OK not fabulous, I arrived late and have to say they Kenny pulled out all the stops to get the closed kitchen (9pm) to whip up a nice house salad and the baby back rub special of the day. No draft beers here, but all the usual American brands. If you drinking wine, tell Kenny exactly what your... More

First business trip to Carson City, tried this restaurant as is was close to Hampton Inn, 10% when you show your room key, and recommended by the Hampton staff. First night was very good, attentive service and was prepared to give it 5 stars. My business partner asked for a special salad and request was filled graciously, my petite fillet... More

Not too long ago, we enjoyed at couple of cocktails in the bar with Kenny, wonderful bar tender!!!! Fun and sure knows how to make a cocktail like we like...However the dinner prices were realllly high!!! I was surprised and also a bit disappointed with the food for the price. Hope fully they will lower their prices. Great service however.

Had New Years dinner there with family. Ordered the ribs and swordfish specials for that night along with the sea bass from the regular menu. The ribs were meaty but were not done as well as many other places in Carson City. The shrimp on top of the swordfish were very good but the swordfish itself was just ok. The... More
