The hotel recommended this restaurant. We called for reservations as it was Friday night but really didn't need them. We had the special swordfish recommended by the waitress. The food was just okay considering this is Carson City, NV. Older building, no view. Ordered margaritas blended, was served on the rocks and charged an extra dollar. Should have complained but... We celebrated with special friends. Each of us had something different, all selections were outstanding. Tiffany and Erica were perfect.

Maybe a bit pricey but worth it. Great menu selections well-prepared and served in an up-scale environment. Live music in the adjoining bar for before, after or instead of a meal.

I was just here on a business dinner where someone else paid so I can't complain too much! This place is right out of the 70s in terms of the menu and atmosphere (except there is no smoke). Edamame was ok, huge portion. I had the black bean soup, the petite filet (which lived up to its name) and baked... More

Across from Holiday Inn Express, so it was very convenient, we decided to try Glen Eagles. It didn't hurt that our hotel front desk told us they would give us a 20% discount. They were wrong, but it didn't matter. It turned out to be a 10% discount, and one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in a... More

On a business trip with three colleagues. We stopped in to a good restaurant but it was nothing special. I ordered a the prized(according to the menu) pork chop entree. The waitress was very helpful and informed the table that there were Elk chops as a special. I had difficulty making a decision, so the waitress suggested one of each... More

My First Lady and I are usually not going out on what's known as 'Amateur Night', but we decided a day or so before to go out to dinner for NY's and have a cozy evening for ourselves, no hats, hooters, nor throwing of streamers. Our reservation was at 8:30 PM,...late, fine with us. Among several marginally credible restaurants nearby... More

There is nothing notable about this restaurant except the pricing and the noise from the bar area. If you are a meat lover you will not like the "Angus" beef; especially at more than $30.00 per steak. My experience is that any beef, whether you call it Angus or some other seemingly fancy name, that is not graded U.S.D.A. Prime... More

I have been going to Glen Eagles for 10 years, and I can say with confidence - it is worth the money. Great service, they will always make sure you get what you want, and wont top until you are happy. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food - always tastes good. But by golly, you'll get sick of... More

Hadn't eaten at Glen Eagles for years, but the opportunity arrived for a business dinner there recently. We arrived, were seated promptly, and would have enjoyed our dinner, except for extremely loud live music from the bar, accompanied by an unruly group of drinkers. Even though the bar was in another room and across a hall, at times conversation was... More
