Great place to get together with friends and family. I also have been there for a group meeting in their meetin room!
I recently traveled to Carson City on business. I stayed at the Wyndam Gardens across the street so the location was perfect. I sat at the bar and was delighted to see the menu had the option of smaller portions. I had the salmon, the bartender suggested the wood fired prep...it was fantastic. I would definitely good there again.
So I have been hanging out all this week in Carson City and found this really great eatery near my hotel in downtown Carson City Called Red's Old 395 Grill http://www.reds395.com/html/index.php My hotel had lot's of their vouchers or hotel bucks equiv to$5.00 so I thought I would give the place a try. For the fraction of what I would... More
On a Sunday in Feburary we had about 30 people join us for a day of fun in the private room next to the dinning section. Sam, the Manager, opened up early for us as we set up for the party. He brought in exta help and the meals and drinks were coming fast. The food was great, the service... More
This restaurant serves the biggest platters of food in Carson City. Plan to take home a doggy bag. The sides (beans, corn, slaw, etc ) are good, but the BBQ is really the heart and gut of the meal. Whether it is ribs, brisket, or pulled pork, the BBQ is wonderful. The atmosphere is also special, with old construction equipment,... More
Love love love Red's Flat Iron steak salad ! If you're traveling through Carson City, NV come by and see all the different beers Red's also has !
As locals we've been to Red's many times over the years and come to expect great service and food. Hopefully it was just a bad night, but our last experience was extremely slow service and then, when we got our artichoke dip appetizer it was cold and runny. The waitress looked at us and seemed surprised that we asked for... More
Good friendly service, good food, great outdoor eating area, fun atmosphere, unusual, amazing decorations, think hunting lodge meets grandma's attic but even more eclectic.
I prefer not to go to Red's because it is impossible to carry on a conversation. Too noisy. Usually poor service as well because it is very busy and understaffed. Although the food is tolerable, it is not my idea of a pleasant place to dine. I go there only because other family members like it.
We liked it and would go back. Interesting decor adds to the experience. Prices pretty good for what you get but this is not an inexpensive place. The cornbread was special.
