An eclectically appointed restaurant and lounge. Fun western history items. Food very good. Prices reasonable. Large draft beer selection.

It was a hot day and we had driven down from Lake Tahoe to see what Carson, Nv., was all about. At the State Capitol the guard suggested that we have lunch at Red's Old 395 Grill. It turned out to be a great suggestion. The large restaurant has plenty of parking, is well air conditioned, and has wonderful memorabilia... More

We stopped here based on a recommendation from a family member. We had a large party and were seated within minutes. It took a while to get our drinks ordered, due to only having one server working our section. The place wasn't busy. Our service was good, she was very friendly, helpful, and worked very hard. The food was ok,... More

We tried the combo platters and there was way too much food!! We had to take some of it with us. Everything was tasty and the server was quite friendly.

My wife and I stopped here and tried the BBQ platter for two. A very impressive presentation. Full rack of ribs, half a chicken, 3 huge sausages, coleslaw and beans for two. We did our best, but had to take almost half home. The chicken, ribs and beans were very good. Cole slaw was so-so. The sausages were OK, but... More

What wonderful time we had at Reds. The food hasn't failed us yet. The reservations this year grue to over 30 in our party. Lots of laughter you can imagine. I love the time we spend at Reds and we talk about from time to time until our next visit. The best part is when one of sneaks over during... More

As you can see from the other reviews here, Red's is unique and a little hard to describe. Think a little Old Town Sacramento combined with Tommy's Joint in SF. Very colorful old west/museum decor, great service, and good food. Excellent barbecue sauce, not too spicy like some places, plenty of variety on the menu as well. We like to... More

We happened onto this unique BBQ restaurant by chance. Upon entering you are immediately greeted by friendly staff and unique items hanging from the ceiling and walls. This restaurant not only serves very good food but also gives you interesting things to look at while your eating. We ordered the brisket and while waiting for our dinner walked around the... More

Went there on May 10th, 2014, for my birthday because we had been there one other time for a late lunch. We did have very good service both times. The atmosphere was fun and many old relics of Nevada. We were with another couple. The cost of the food is a little pricey but the service makes up for it.... More

We were surprised and delighted when we discovered this excellent restaurant right across the street from the hotel we were spending the night at. The service is terrific, the food is plentiful (we shared a single order and had leftovers) and it arrived at our table super-fast. The ambiance is way cool too! It was just the two of us,... More
