We again ate at the bar. Great service from Lindsey during their happy hour we stayed for dinner. We started with fried pickles, they were an unusual appetizer that is hard to find. When done right as they were here they are great. We also had burgers that were also very good. This is a great stop across from the... More

A unique lunch-dinner place in a historic building. The name is very British as is the decor. Sort of a brit restaurant from 1900 set in Nevada. Good beer choices, across the street from the Capitol mall. Every saturday morning 9am there is a weekly Farmers Market in the block behind the restaurant, one block off the main drag.

The outdoor seating is a little noisy as you are next to the main drag but don't let that deter you if you like eating in the open. The Food is worth every car sound you hear. inside is a rustic irish pub. with plush Red cushion seating. where ever you sit doesn't matter the Beer is great and you... More

We stopped in on late Thursday afternoon. Great choice of beers and a good menu. I'd go back to this pub for dinner on another visit happily. The wait staff was helpful and prompt. The interior is comfy old-wood pub. Really liked the place.

I enjoy urban walks and walked around the state capitol before stopping in this place. It's across from the the state capitol and on a shaded corner street. I sat outside with my dog on the patio. The server was very attentive to me and even gave my dog extra water. I ordered a simple cheese burger and fries and... More

Yum! Yum! Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. We enjoyed this little establishment so much. We ordered the mussels (light on the spice), the cottage pie, the Irish nachos, and the meat lovers pizza and all were to our satisfaction. Many locals came in and they knew them by name. When locals and state employees visit, you know it's a... More

My husband and I ate here last night, arriving before dusk, which comes after 8 pm this time of year. The guy who seemed to be heading up things was rather brusque when we arrived and asked for a seat outside. There were multiple tables which had just been vacated and cleared but he told us to take any seat... More

I really don't like writing a negative report, but although I have enjoyed a number of good meals here before, if anything could have gone wrong the last time there I don't know what it could have been. There was a nice crowd on the outside patio, but I preferred to sit at a booth. I had to wait a... More

If you are someone who loves British food, then you will like The Firkin & Fox. Their fish & chips are authentic, as is their cottage pie & Guinness Meat & Mushroom pie. The service started out poorly, but by the end was pretty good. Our first waiter was lame, but when we mentioned it, they changed out to another... More
