This is a nice "date" place for lunch, assuming you aren't in a hurry. We ate outside and it was beautiful, but it took 2 hours because the service was SO slow, not attentive at all, we both had pizza which was good, a couple drinks. Cost was about $45, not unreasonable but again the service is very lacking. Not... More

We stopped in with our kids for an early dinner after visiting the Mining Museum and state Capitol grounds. At 4:30, the restaurant was practically empty, so you could really take in the historical setting and old-fashioned decor. To make a long story short, we were happy with our food (salad greens were fresh; the steak on the steak salad... More

The Firken and Fox in Carson City, NV - across from the legislature, has creative twists to many of their appetizers, main courses, and desserts, and a happy hour with enticing prices. There is both inside and outside seating, as well as bar service. Everything that can be made on the premises is, with nothing processed. Fantastic macaroni and cheese... More

We had their Award winning Pastrami, it was very good. Their house made chips were an excellent accompaniment. Somewhat pricey but the quality of the food put it in range. Very pleasant waitress, didn't rush us out. Nice outdoor dining area.

My wife and I split one of the 1/2 pound burgers which was very good and plenty for the two of us. Jamie W was our waitress and she was awesome.

We again ate at the bar. Great service from Lindsey during their happy hour we stayed for dinner. We started with fried pickles, they were an unusual appetizer that is hard to find. When done right as they were here they are great. We also had burgers that were also very good. This is a great stop across from the... More

A unique lunch-dinner place in a historic building. The name is very British as is the decor. Sort of a brit restaurant from 1900 set in Nevada. Good beer choices, across the street from the Capitol mall. Every saturday morning 9am there is a weekly Farmers Market in the block behind the restaurant, one block off the main drag.

The outdoor seating is a little noisy as you are next to the main drag but don't let that deter you if you like eating in the open. The Food is worth every car sound you hear. inside is a rustic irish pub. with plush Red cushion seating. where ever you sit doesn't matter the Beer is great and you... More

We stopped in on late Thursday afternoon. Great choice of beers and a good menu. I'd go back to this pub for dinner on another visit happily. The wait staff was helpful and prompt. The interior is comfy old-wood pub. Really liked the place.
