Easy walk from government buildings and a really cool atmosphere. Pub with vintage flair in a neat old building and lots of seating. Had a good burger but was pleasantly surprises by the iced tea! Strong and fresh, both of which are hard to find!

I will select four stars, but the score is really 3.5, and I don't want to give an impression of the F&F being only fair by giving it three stars. If I had rated the F&F six years ago which is about when I started visiting, it would have gotten 4 full stars. However, times have changed. Six years ago,... More

Good location, very nice outdoor seating and an attentive waitress made our evening with friends a memorial occasion. The icing on top was the best pizza we've ever had. Food prices average, drink prices below average.

Best burgers I have had in Carson City, a must hit for lunch while in Carson City. The bar has a classic old school vibe.

This is a nice "date" place for lunch, assuming you aren't in a hurry. We ate outside and it was beautiful, but it took 2 hours because the service was SO slow, not attentive at all, we both had pizza which was good, a couple drinks. Cost was about $45, not unreasonable but again the service is very lacking. Not... More

We stopped in with our kids for an early dinner after visiting the Mining Museum and state Capitol grounds. At 4:30, the restaurant was practically empty, so you could really take in the historical setting and old-fashioned decor. To make a long story short, we were happy with our food (salad greens were fresh; the steak on the steak salad... More

The Firken and Fox in Carson City, NV - across from the legislature, has creative twists to many of their appetizers, main courses, and desserts, and a happy hour with enticing prices. There is both inside and outside seating, as well as bar service. Everything that can be made on the premises is, with nothing processed. Fantastic macaroni and cheese... More

We had their Award winning Pastrami, it was very good. Their house made chips were an excellent accompaniment. Somewhat pricey but the quality of the food put it in range. Very pleasant waitress, didn't rush us out. Nice outdoor dining area.

My wife and I split one of the 1/2 pound burgers which was very good and plenty for the two of us. Jamie W was our waitress and she was awesome.

We again ate at the bar. Great service from Lindsey during their happy hour we stayed for dinner. We started with fried pickles, they were an unusual appetizer that is hard to find. When done right as they were here they are great. We also had burgers that were also very good. This is a great stop across from the... More
