This bar and restaurant has been renovated xx times since my first visit there in the 1980s. Previously, is was "Jim's Jungle Bar" and a VFW annex / "dive's dive." One entered there at one's own risk. Fortunately, is has been renovated to a rather upscale establishment with "ambiance." It is a... read more

Stopped in for lunch. They gave nice beer samples, but sadly one we tried and liked was out when we tried to order a pint. Nice selection of sandwiches. Would visit again.

I hadn't been in for a couple of years and I was really disappointed. The food is average and for the most part it is just another bar that has a large variety of beer.

Casual dining. Consistently good food and service. A little noisy, but great place for families. Conveniently located in downtown Carson City.

Good food at fine prices. Their theme is sort of English pub and they have several pub dishes such as bangers and mash. It is a good place to meet friends for dinner. Good food and service.

I'm a sucker for pubs (I've been to many in England and miss them!) so I always want to give this place a fair chance but after three visits I can't recommend the food very highly. It's basically what you get at a cheap diner but much more expensive. The servers rave about the cobbler but it was average. My... More

Stopped in for lunch based on reviews, and got even better than expected. I had the chicken pot pie, and my friends all ordered something different off the menu. All the meals were very good, but the highlight was dessert. My friend had the brownie sundae and said it was unbelievable, I had the bread pudding and it was the... More

We stopped for lunch on our way south on 395. Great food and attentive service. I had the pastrami sandwich which was perfect. My wife had a salad that was large and delicious. They also have a great selection of beers. The decor gives the authentic feel of an American pub. Best place to eat in Carson City. I plan... More

Visited the restaurant while on a business trip to Carson City and had a great meal! The service was awesome--and they were open much later than the other restaurants around. We had mac and cheese, a burger, Irish nachos, chicken pot pie, and Shepard's pie...all super great! The chicken pot pie is made to look HUGE but in reality it... More
