Late breakfast

I'd written all the way from Tonopah and needed food. The Brandin' Iron fit the bill. Not to late for breakfast so I had coffee and a nice omelette. A refreshing stop on a day that was going to be very hot!

The basics in good food, served with a welcoming smile. After a day's drive, the short walk to the cafe is a welcome break, & the walk back helps take care of that last slice of home-made pie.

The Brandin’ Iron is pretty much the only place in town to eat but that’s probably a positive as it means the locals eat there and they aren’t in the business of ripping tourists off. Our food was well presented, good quality, simply and well cooked. Not fine dining but satisfying and tasty. Excellent value for money and brilliant friendly... More

Terrible! It was the only place open in town and we weren't even acknowledged for 10 minutes. This is a small town, and this place isn't THAT busy. We finally got menus, NO coffee, and no one came back to our table. After more than 10 more minutes we couldn't get anyone's attention so we left and had to find... More

Though the waiteres was very nice and to food was good. The service was extremely slow. If you dont mind waiting for coffee refills and having to try and catch her attention for coffee refills then this place is fine. Like I said the food was good. I will not be back this way so I really cannot say I... More

We had lunch at the Branding Iron over Memorial Day weekend. The food was good but the service was a little slow. But since we were not in a hurry, it was no problem.

A good, friendly staff which is a plus anywhere. The food and drinks were good and very reasonable. It is in the center of town and within walking distance of the Shady Motel

Casual, very friendly, close to hotel, good service. Would go back anytime. Planning to eat breakfast there tomorrow.

We had two meals at the Brandin' Iron - dinner and breakfast. For dinner I had a delicious Salisbury steak my wife had Fried Chicken. The waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed - the restaurant wasn't particularly business the evening we visited. We had a good breakfast with great coffee, eggs etc. The breakfast waitress was full... More

We walked in and waited 15 minutes and were never served so we left. There was a big group of motorcycle riders in the place and they got all the attention. It was hot, dirty and smelled bad so we decided it was not worth the wait.
