We wandered in here after a long day driving around Death Valley and were greeted with smiles and offerings of their award winning home made chilli. What more could a weary traveller need? The staff were attentive with a great sense of humour to us. We started with a beer and a bowl of chilli each, which were then followed... More

We stopped here to get a something to eat and were not disappointed. The menu consist of Chili and burgers, but the best I have ever had. The owners and other locals are wonderful people. Don't miss the opportunity to stop by this wonderful place, if only for a beer.

Choose to eat there because of Tripadvisor reviews. Locals come in for a beer or coffee, including the Sherriff. Wanted to try their award winning Chili and we did with Burgers. Owner's daughter running the place on a Tuesday night. They have even participated in our town's chili cookoff, during Conejo Valley Days, that's Thousand Oaks, in Southern Cal. Yes... More

We ate here twice it was so good. There's a great atmosphere and the barmaid remembered our order on the 2nd visit. The chilli is tasty and fantastic value. Decor is busy but very homely. A fantastic place with friendly locals.

We stopped by on our way through Beatty and found it, well... interesting. Anyways we decided to go in for a beer and a "chili verde" (because it was St.Patrick's Day). The chili was really good and so was the beer (Budweiser in a frozen mug). The outstanding thing are the people in there! We never expected to be welcomed... More

Seriously, who can resist time spent with a happy burro? It's a small place with character in a small town with character. Bartender Danna is great. There's enough fun stuff on the walls to keep you amused and laughing. It's a quieter alternative to the Sourdough next door. And a chili-cheese baked potato hits the mark at the end of... More

Right across from the Exchange Club Motel. Good food and cheap beer. Wish they had Stone IPA on tap. Would have made it a 5*. Still a good place to grad some grub! Friendly, too.

We went here because it was right across the street. We had a good time, ate chili and had beers, and chatted with the bartender. Good food, cheap meal, worthwhile. Lots of cowboy decor, as well as a bunch of chili contest awards.

I honestly don't think there's a better place in the West to grab a beer and burger -- and a bowl of chili if you're hungry. Burgers are 5 bucks, and cold draft beers (several selections) are $2. Other than their award-winning chili, there isn't really anything else on the menu. But who cares? The atmosphere in this place is... More
