This is a small, cash only bar but worth the stop if you are hungry and/or thirsty. The owners/bartenders are very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I had the chili and a beer and was happy. I understand the men's restroom is worth a look.

I walked in the Door and it stunk of cigarettes! Don't go unless A: you're a smoker, or B: you have a gas mask! I"m quite shocked Nevada Still allows smoking in Restaurants!

Was in Beatty before Beatty Days (end of October) and ate at the Happy Burro. Sampled the award winning chili and enjoyed the draft PBR while watching the locals practice for Beatty Days in full western regalia (cowboys and floozies). Had a beer with a few of the locals who have some interesting tales to tell...Cheapest dinner and a floor... More

This bar is a very good bar with very nice chili. A warm-heart couple with two dogs run this bar, offering nice beer and nice cheese as well as nice conversation. They are so kind that they took me a short trip to recognize the road in Death Valley so that I won't spend my time on... More

Stumbled upon this place whilst travelling though Death Valley. Beer glasses kept in the freezer for that extra frostiness and great chilli. We were a group of English doing a "road trip" and staff couldn't have been more pleasant. After about 2 mins I felt like I was one of the locals, being brought into the chat and banter. I'd... Place there could have been transformed in a cheap tourist trap like so many other cases, but people who run it just chose not to. I felt so, SO happy there, simply sipping an ace cold draft beer in this environment of unparalleled beauty, for just $ 2,25-well how cool is that? Unfortunately we did not manage to taste their... This place is oozing with character. Fun-to-read signs on the walls, cattle skulls on the wooden tables. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was great and so was the chili. They offer PBR and amber bock on tap. My amber bock was delicious and served ice cold in a mason jar. I'm usually not crazy about places that... More

The restaurant was just across the street. Choices were limited but we had some delicious chili there. Very good service also.

On the main drag and hard to miss, it’s a small local owned bar with decent chili. The draft beer is cheep and so is the chili. I would say it’s made for the general public, as in not too hot or spicy. I would suggest eating out in the patio as the bar is usually smokey. The place is... More

Coming from Death Valley, we just stopped in Beatty for fuel but couldn't resist visiting around to take a beer. We walked in this bar and met the great "Beatty boys" who delighted us with an unexpected funny gunfigth! We spent such delicious & relaxing time before continuing to Las Vegas.
