The best ice cream by far. We went with family members, three generations. We feel like it is part of the heritage of Scottsbluff to visit the Creamery.

We are trying to find homemade ice cream each day of our trip. Today we tried Platte Valley Creamery. The ice cream was ok, but the shop was really a hoot. It must look the same as it did in 1932. An elderly gentleman who was a little grumpy waited on us. The scoops were a little small but cheap.... More

Having recently been in Europe, Germany, Poland and Italy- hot summer, and we tasted the local ice cream and Gelati, it was obvious that the textures of the ice creams are different from this local shop. The homemade ice creams here were not as smooth, nor seemingly as creamy. Prices and serving sizes on the cones were about the same.... More

The ice cream was very good but we were third in line inside the store and waited more than 20 minutes to even get served.

This local creamery serves some of the best ice cream in the country. There are flavors you cannot find anywhere else because they were created by the owner and are made at this location. This small shop has a drive-up window as well as a walk in shop with two booths for patrons to sit, watch traffic go by, and... More

The lemon is my favorite & the champagne is good too! When my kids want ice cream, Platte Valley Creamery is where they expect to go.

I taught jr. high for almost 30 years. when we ran our best contests, we would often make ice cream or floats from Platte Valley Creamery our top award. The kids just loved it. Highly motivating. It is without any doubt, the best ice cream in the Valley.

This is the real thing.!!! Fresh, on site homemade Ice cream. They are quality that you can't find in a chain. The person that works there is always as genuine as the ice cream. A visit here is like none other.....

I had ice cream from the Creamery many times as a young boy, meaning about 50 years ago. Not that big a deal since they've been in business for over 80 years now. Last night for a wedding rehearsal dinner we had many buckets of ice cream, of these four flavors: vanilla, chocolate, butter brickle, and English toffee. Yowzer, they... More
