We went to Whiskey Creek because this chain can usually be counted on to provide a decent dinner at a reasonable price, and we were not disappointed in that regard. We ordered prime rib. The salad that preceded it was mediocre. The lettuce was bumping up against its use-by date and the tomatoes were past it. The prime rib, however,... More

Not a bad place to eat. Priced right for what you receive. I would suggest you stop and give it a try.

After a long day of driving this meal really hit the spot. All 7 of us loved our food, steaks, fried shrimp, sweet potato french fries were all highlights. It was busy so we had to wait a bit, staff was very friendly and the food was good.

We stopped here because it was the closest to our hotel. I had the brisket burger. The burger was cooked well-done. Server didn't ask how I wanted it cooked. The brisket was a couple of chunks on top of the patty, with a dab of bbq sauce. The rest of my family's mean was unmemorable as well. After eating at... More

Excellent steak, vegetables, potatoes, and peach cobbler. The chicken fried steak was not impressive; it almost tasted like one you would get in a cafeteria. JJ was a fun and interesting waitress. My medium cooked ribeye came out extremely bloody, so I asked for them to cook it up to medium. 20 minutes later, the manager told me they significantly... More

On our way to Colorado after 10 hours driving, we decided to have a good meal and were not disappointed. We decided to eat at Whiskey Creek based on the Tripadvisor reviews. I had the macadamia nut crusted chicken on rice. It was excellent. Hubby had Jim Beam sirloin steak that was very good. We had a short wait for... More

This was one of those places where there are buckets of peanuts on the tables and peanut hulls on the floor, so we were expecting the usual steakhouse. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find a very diverse menu. After 12 hours in the car, we really didn't want a heavy meal. I ordered the Macadamia Nut Chicken--boneless chicken breast... More

Going thru on our way to Wyoming, this was about 1/2 way from Kansas City. It was nice not a long wait, server was nice, but a little slow. Food was good...but not great. Nice atmosphere.

Service was very pleasant but a little slow to begin - there were a couple of big parties in there. The food was excellent and plenty of choices. Salad was a standard bagged one but the steak more than made up for it.

My wive and I were staying at the Hotel near by and we can not leave the dog in the room by herself so I order a couple of burgers from this wonderful steak house which it smell so wonderful inside while waiting for the burgers. It has to be a great place to eat because there were several people... More
