This restaurant has a great aviation theme in a historical airport terminal the food was so-so to start but has greatly improved
A converted municipal airport terminal has been converted and appointed with aircraft and car theme (lots of air brush art by Karl Reeder, of Reeder Originals). Just 2 miles south of town on Highway 81 it will surprise you on menu options from unique hamburgers, fish, pasta, prime rib to die for, BBQ (a new addition), numerous micro brews from... More
This was my second visit to Barnstormers. This time I went for a work event. They were excellent hosts, brought in some great entertainment and the food was very good. I'd go back again especially evening, the place has a good energy when it's full.
The owners took a vintage airport tower and converted it into a one of a kind restaurant. Dine and watch the planes come and go out the large windows. Check out the Nebraska Dining Room with Go Big Red collectables. Enjoy the original art pieces by co-owner and local painter. Great Sunday Brunch menu. My favorites are the Tuna Steak... More
This place had a great atmosphere and décor, which got our hopes high for our meals. Unfortunately, the food didn’t deliver to our expectations. My husband’s boneless wings were supposed to be very hot but they will not really spicy at all and they also came out a little cold. My chicken wrap was fine but lacked anything special or... More
Arrangements were made for our large group of over 80 cars and approx. 200 people to stop for lunch. Barnstormers handled this so well, providing an excellent lunch in an area behind the restaurant, serving us cafeteria style in a short time. Ample parking was provided. Well done, Barnstormers and Norfolk!
If you like good food and friendly service, then you should not pass by Barnstormer's on your way to the Missouri River, a Niobrara float trip, Smith Falls, the Pine Ridge Reservation, or any other point north or west! When is the last time you paid $2.50 for a hamburger? Yep, it's right here! The locals are great and you... More

Over the last two years, my family and I have been to Barnstormers 4 times. Each time was slightly different, with three constants: 1) The Food. The food at Barnstormers is quite good. They serve a riddiculous 1lb burger for those not planning on eating for a while afterwards, which is topped with BBQ briscuit and several other goodies. All... More
We have had lunch here twice over the course of a few months. Service was SLOW, food was just "ok" and the prices were a bit more than they should have been. I am thinking that they will not be in business much longer. The place was pretty empty both times we were there and I have heard other comments... More
