Hidden Gem!

Stopped by here on our way to Minnesota. Read good reviews and the location was convenient, so we decided to stop. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food was fantastic! I ordered the machaca and loved it. They ran out of rice and substituted French fries and the tamales did not... read more

The place was clean and the service was fast, but the food was pretty bland. I have gone twice and tried 2 different burritos and neither of them were great. There's better places in town.

We've been to two of the de Leon's locations in Lincoln and have had very good food at both. The food is hot, fresh and more than fairly priced. Home made tortillas, I think. I will return whenever I get a chance, I'd recommend the Nebraska burrito.

It looks a lot diferent than say an Amigo's/Taco Bell. Rustic. The colors of the place "lots of shades of Brown" encourage you to sit down and eat your meal slowly. Though had to ask at the counter for the usual extras. No stocked condiment Bar like Amigo's. ...........This is not a Taco Bell or Amigo. Cross between a sit... More

one of the better Mexican food places I have been in. they are a lot of the street food, Mexican food. but it is very good food. they have some good burritos. I get a craving for Mexican food, and this is one of my favorite places to go Mexican food.

It's a plain Jane place with no frills! The food is great with fresh cabbage wonderful pork and the value is very good. The beans and rice are just that beans and rice. The meats and veggies are very ful of flavor. This is a fast food but good food restaurant.

We used the drive through after the Nebraska-Wisconsin FB game and they were very busy. The wait was well worth it with great food made to order. This is so much better than your typical fast food fare, I hate to even call this fast food. Great food, great prices, what more could a person want!

I have been very fortunate to have visited many places in the southwest and sample some traditional regional cuisine. (New Mexico, Arizona, San Diego, CA, Colorado, Texas, Nevada) de Leon's serves traditional Mexican food of very good quality. If your idea of good Mexican food is fajita's at Chili's, de Leon's probably isn't your speed. Real Mexican food is made... More
