Don't freak if you haven't eaten Indian before. I hadn't and this place was unbelievable. One of the best, most reasonable meals I've ever had. The wine list is also amazing! Great prices and wines from all over, many I knew. Had the chicken vindaloo and it was spicy! Excellent spicy, it sneaks up on you. I'm not a curry... More

Our son lives in Lincoln he wanted us to try something new and exciting! He love this place. We are kind of traditional so this was a stretch for us# It was great will definitely be back!

The Goa Chicken was amazing. I loved the creamy white sauce that smothered the chicken. We also got the Chicken Pankoras for an appetizer which were really good too. They were fried with this red rub that was a smidgen spicy. My husband got the Tandoori chicken. He liked it but it is not boneless and he didn't see that.... More

I've gone to the Oven for years, but haven't had the chance to dine there in a while. I went to the Oven about two weeks ago, and I was so happy that it's just as wonderful of an experience as I'd always remembered. Amazing food, great service, and the atmosphere is great for various types of outings--date night, family... More

The Oven has some of the best Indian food anywhere! So many choices and I've never had a bad meal. The wine list is fantastic as well! Even if you are not sure if you like Indian food there are dishes that will still please such as the Chicken Tikka - to die for!

I love Indian food and the fact they brought us a Oven to the 70th and Pioneer area is perfect. I seldom eat there but get take-out about once a week. Great prices and the bread is the best.

A long-standing dinner tradition for one of my friends and I, The Oven (previously and sometimes alternatively known as the "Indian Oven") has vegetarian dishes that can't be beat, and a smooth, creamy Mulligatawny soup that I crave. Try one of the breads - they're all great. My favorite bread features cashews and raisins - dipped in the yogurt/cucumber sauce,... More

I have been to The Oven many times. I have tried most of the appetizers (naan, stuffed paratha, etc) and could go there just for them with some wine. I have also tried many of the main dishes, and the food quality and flavors are always delicious. The last two times, however, I have ordered a lamb dish and received... More

I especially love the paneer vindaloo. Great traditional breads, dial up or down the spice without sacrificing quality, flavor or authenticity.

Take a left at the entrance to The Oven, go down the stairs and you'll find yourself in the cozy, very inviting Cellar. There, Somelier and Oven Manager Charles Ludwig created a special meal for our group of seven. Five courses of intriguing East Indian fare, each paired with a wine - and Charles' entertaining as well as knowledgeable insights... More
