The atmosphere and overall feel of the restaurant is very modern and classy. (A good feeling). The food was very delicious and the prices weren't out of the roof. The creamy chicken curry was exceptional, and the tandoori meats were very flavorful. Service was good, price was good, food was good. Nuff said.

As with all the other reviews, this restaurant is about the best Indian I've had. An appetizer called Chana Masala started us off, and I recommend that. Then on to some excellent entrees. My wife had the Tandoori Grill and I had the Kheema. They have an amazing wine and beer selection, which is good to help with the spice.... More

We have eaten Indian food all over the world including in India. This ranks very high. They have a window where you can watch the chef at the tandoor oven. Some of the best naan I have ever. We had a minced meat kabob, naan, Bombay Dahl and raita. Prices were very reasonable and it is in a refurbished warehouse... More

I've heard people say this is the best Indian food, anywhere. After my travels I will have to agree. There are many vegetarian options to choose from. Before I became vegetarian, I think the Goa Shrimp from here was the best meal I've ever had. The wine list is simply amazing, like, unbelievable. I've taken friends and family here who... More

We love this restaurant, and have visited both locations frequently. The portions are generous without being ridiculous, the curry is always delicious, the spicing is for Midwestern palates, but can be enhanced if you like the heat. The salads are fresh and delicious and the Mulligatawny soup is wonderful. Get the naan for sopping up every drop. Great place--we'll be... More

After not eating at the oven(downtown) for some time we decided to try it for dinner before a James Taylor concert. All the restaurants in the Haymarket were full and busy as was the Oven. The service was quick, friendly and professional. I had the chicken tikka madras biryani and it was very good. The chicken was a little dry but... More

Have been here twice before. Have never been disappointed. Service is quick, food is very tasty and if you want spicy, they can meet your needs. But also can tone it down for those who don't want that. Good place. Give it a try.

The Oven "East" is absolutely outstanding food. Their spinach bread with mint chutney is out of this world. Everything is always good, cooked perfect with the same great flavor everytime

The food from the Oven, both locations, never fails in all the years I've gone there. The sauces and always immensely flavorful, (try the Chicken Madras) and the ingredients (especially the meats) of high quality. Our kids love it too. No other place in town comes even close to this one.

You can't go wrong with this place. We've tried Indian in Chicago, St. Louis, San Fran, on and on and The Oven ranks among some of the best we've tried. Ironically Lincoln has 3 great Indian spots including Tandoor and Sher E Punjab. The Oven has the best overall atmosphere but the food rocks at all three.
