If you're looking for great BBQ in Lincoln, this is definitely a place to consider. It's fast, affordable and GREAT tasting - and that's coming from someone who was raised on KC BBQ. There isn't a ton of seating, so during peak hours you might be sharing a tabletop with others but it is SO worth it! We had the... More

Contrary to an earlier review, Phat Jack's is still in business and serving great BBQ. The restaurant is at 11th & Cornhusker where they serve perfectly prepared ribs, sandwiches, and assorted sides. If it's great BBQ you crave, head to Phat Jack's.

This place is nice and clean with a friendly staff. Just the smell of the food when you walk is awesome and it gets better when you get your food. We have eaten here several times and will eat here many more times. Well worth trying out if you have never had food from here.

I had lunch here during a business trip and had the lunch special of beef and pork sandwich with one side and one drink. The service was quick and atmosphere OK, with TV on and fair amount of people. I chose to eat here based on other Tripadvisor reviews. The beef was OK at best, the pork better. Overall, the... More

Finally after trying many restaurants I have found a BBQ restaurant that is up to my standards. I smoke BBQ in my own stick burner smoker so it has been hard to find a place that meets my expectations.

The burnt ends were extremely fatty. It might have just been my order because the order on the table next to ours looked more meaty. The brisket had a nice smoke ring and a good flavor. I found the cornbread very tasty. The service was quick and friendly. It filled up quickly.

We had the Burnt Ends and the Pork. Very good. Good service. Plenty of easy parking. Don't bother with the corn bread, the only thing they could improve on. Prices are very good.We will be back, soon

Starting with the food: We ordered the Jack's Phat combo (see photo). The pulled Pork is the star of the plate. It was juicy with good medium smoke flavor and a nice crust that added additional flavor and a crunchy texture. The Ribs are also very good with nice firm, yet tender, meat that came right off the bone. They... More

Phat Jack's offers the best burnt ends in Nebraska. I am a big fan of burnt ends and these are tasty. I brisket is very molst (too much fat for a 5 star review) and the sauces are very tangy and sweet. You get a lot of meat for the price. The service was good and the line moved quicky. They... More
